He smiled at her shy approach to the situation. Of course, after all it is probably sort of weird for her to suddenly be thrown in a room with her brother. Brandon gestured to his guards who untied her hands and feet so that she was no longer constricted. " Would you care to tell me how you became a vampire? " He asked, getting right down to business. He did not like to waist time and he knew that her vampire side would soon take over once again and he wanted to get everything out of her before there was another side to her that he had to deal with.

Right, there the problem was. That moment of happiness when she almost had forget about it was over again. She was a vampire, in some way, and he a vampire hunter. She closed her eyes for one moment, wishing all this had not happened. What an unfortunate day that had been, a little more than one week ago, when Matthew had turned her into that monster. "Well..." she began. "My parents... other parents, they were killed by vampires, and I wanted revenge." she explained. "And... then I was bitten one night, merely one week ago. " she spoke.

He stroked his chin as he listened to her story. " Well that would explain why the injection worked so well then. You have hardly received but half of the abilities that you shall be capable of. ' He said as he continued to stroke his chin. " How were your other 'parents' killed? Did the vampires come into your home, catch you in the streets, car, hitchhiker? " He asked trying to gain more information as he was trying to find out what tactics the vampires were now using after all of this chaotic bombings and such.

Alanna appreciated that her hands and legs finally were freed again by some soldiers, and she sat up, feeling not able anymore to stay lying. Although, she felt a slight tingle in her fingers, her vampire instincts slowly returned again. It seemed this antidote they had given her had not held it back for much longer. She also felt hungry, remembering that she hardly ate anything on the crossings from England, her stomach rumbled. But her human side still remained stronger, for the moment. She nodded, it was obvious that she as such a young vampire was not strong enough to resist the antidote. But now, she continued answering him. "Policemen told me they died in a car crash, and their car has been completely destroyed, so I believe the vampire or vampires attacked them in the car. This has happened about... two or three years ago now." she spoke, it hurt her a little to remember this sad episode of her life. But she was used to this, she always will be feeling a little sting in her heart out of sadness when thinking about the death of her 'parents'. She was used to this by now, and so coninued to talk after one moment. "I am hungry." she added.

Brandon's eyes shot open whenever she mentioned hunger. It was to be expected but he did not want to think about his sister having to drink blood for the rest of her life. However, he would not let her starve to death. " Hungry for real food or something a little less dense? " He asked trying to make the situation a little less tense. " We have both. " He said as he gestured to a guard who left for a moment and returned with a bag of blood and a meat sandwich. " The only question is which side is going to win out. You can not fight off your hungry for..." He said pointed to the bag. " Or you will die. " He said calmly.

Alanna had not drank a drop of blood before, save when Matthew had offered her his blood so she would stay alive, she had not sees any other possibility in this moment. She disgusted the thought of drinking blood, and she did not want it, but when the man came back with blood and a sandwich she felt that only blood would truly satisfy her, give her back energy. She looked at Brandon for one moment, but stayed silent, she did not know what to say. She felt embarrassed by her urge to drink blood, and most of all she did not want her brother to see her in this state. However, she gave in and picked up the bag with blood. She knew they were watching her, and she wished she would not have to do this, but she already felt her vampire teeth break through, and she sank them into the bag, feeling the blood running down her throat.

Brandon gestured for his men to go ahead and leave the room. They were not needed. He could handle himself and he did not wish for Alanna to feel at all out of place. He sat down in a chair and stroked his chin, looking down at his feet as if he was thinking. It was heard for him to imagine the thought of his sister being there, right infront of him. He sighed and ran his hands through his hair before looking back up at Alanna. He was sure she had questions and he was more than willing to answer them.

After a short while, Alanna stopped drinking, feeling disgusted by the thick red liquor she ingested, but because of this she felt her strength returned within moments, plus the vampire in her was fully freed by now. She felt miserable, but let it happen. The bag of blood was almost empty and she let it drop to the ground. She was not hungry in this moment, but she felt a little sick instead. The metallic taste of the blood still remained in her mouth, something she always had hated as human. She always has been able to see blood, but not taste it. She now looked over to where Brandon was sitting, meeting his gaze for one moment, she then looked away. She was relieved he had sent all others out of the room, she did not want people to see her like this, although neither did she want her new-found brother to see her in this state. But she trusted him and it felt good to not be treated like the monster she believed she was. It seemed the facts that there still was a great deal of human inside her, and that this human was his sister made it easier to believe that a part of her still was good. She walked over to Brandon, sitting down on a chair near to him, although there was a small table in between them. She looked toward him once more, and asked "What about our parents? How are they?" She purposely did not mention anything about vampires and blood, she wanted to avoid everything to do with this topic.

He looked up from what he was doing whenever he heard the bag drop gently onto the ground. He nodded slightly, more to himself than to her as she came over to speak with him. He looked up once again as she came and sat down in a chair next time him. His smile was diminished whenver he heard her ask about their parents. He took a breath. He mine as well tell her. " They were killed in a car accident, or so it was said. " He said calmly. " The bodies were said to have been burned to nothing in the crash but it was not so. I believe that vampires got them and just crashed the car. " He said with a sigh.

"What?" Alanna blurted out when she heard her corporeal parents were dead, as well killed by vampires. "That can't be." she said, "I did not even get to know them." She was shocked, she always had thought of her parents as people she once would get to know them, and that she would have time, loads of time. She now asked herself why she had not searched for them earlier. "When did that happen?" she asked him.

He shook his head and sighed. " This happened about nine years ago. Their death is what inspired me to build all of this. " He said gesturing to the facility. " They and you were my drive to hunt and kill every vampire that i could in hopes that someday i might eventually find you or them. " He said softly. " And nine years leader i have found you. " He said with a kind smile as he looked at her with another smile. " His sis. " He said in a playful happy tone.

Alanna sighed, nine years, that was a long time. "Really, such a long time?" she asked him, only noticing now how many questions were on her mind. "And are you sure it were vampires who killed them? Couldn't it be that they have been turned to vampires as well, as I am?" she asked, having a little hope in her to maybe meet them still, even although it had been an extremely long time. "But probably not, you have searched for them, right? As enemy of vampires?"

He nodded and sighed. " Of course i have looked for them. I have gone over the evidence and the crime scene over and over again and it all points towards vampires. Normally, in a car accident, even if the bodies were burned to nothing in the flames there is at least some bones left, maybe even something to use for dental records. However, this was not the case. There was nothing left, not a fiber of the humans that had been inside of the car. " He said with a sigh. " That is how i know that it was vampires. That and a few others things. " He said calmly.

"That is sad. Then they haven't even been buried, there's no place to go to when missing them... or thinking of them... or wanting to get to know them at least a little." Alanna spoke, the last sentence mostly to herself. It pained her, even although she hardly had any memory of her true parents, she felt she had loved them dearly and wished they could have been closer. Although, she felt as if she hardly should have any reason to be sad because of their death. She did not know them, neither did she really remember them, and their death was long ago. However, she sighed to return from her thoughts to reality. "What other evidence did you find that vampires took them?" She asked him.
Although her vampire teeth still had remained, and did not form back, the human Alanna still had suppressed the vampire desires in her. The thoughts of her past as human, about her family, and what vampires had done to them effectuated her positively, even although the vampire had become stronger and stronger in the last hours, it's powers grew slowly.

He shrugged his shoulders and sighed. " Just bits and pieces of information, here and there. " He said with a shake of his head. " But, what is done is done and there is no reversing of this process. " He said with another shake of his head and a stroke of his chin. " Now, i need you to remember something for me. What was the name of the vampire that turned you. Most of the time they always gloat about who they are to those they turn and if he is a well known vampire i may be able to track him and possibly get some more information on that ring of yours. " He said calmly as he took a seat in one of the three chairs that were in the room.
