Alanna looked up at Brandon, she could not see him clearly, but clear enough to look right into his eyes. Why did he ask so many questions about her past as human, had she really been right with suspecting that he was her elder brother, and he now thought so as well? Could it be that they at last found each other again? What a coincidence this would be. But she at last answered him. "I do not know much about my childhood." she spoke, and it was the truth. Most she had forgotten, or repressed of her memory from this time. All she could remember was that through an incident, she was not sure what exactly it was, she lost contact to her family, but was raised by another couple who adopted her as her own daughter. She saw those as her real parents, although always had the knowledge in her back that there was another strand of family, her real parents, and her brother, whom she had not seen since this early age and had almost none memory about him. She went on. "I was parted of my family at a young age and raised by another, living in London." she said, watching him closely for any reactions, wondering if she could be right, that he truly could be her brother. After her adopted parents died, she was all alone and now that she was turned to a vampire she felt even more isolated from anyone else, it would be a great help to have one person to come to her aid.

He stroked his chin in thought as he listened to her speak of not remembering much of her childhood and how she was seperated from her parents at a young age. Much of information was very similar to that of what had happened to his sister. He was silent for a moment as he thought about the similarities of their stories before he asked another question. " Seperated you say...." He said calmly. " How exactly were you seperated? " He asked in a very inquisitive manner.

Elanna frowned a little, thinking hard, trying to remember. She never has known for sure what ha happened this day exactly, she was very young at that time and only a few pictures of this scene remained in her memory. Those pictures she tried to describe now to him. "We were on the streets... my brother and I, our parents have gone somewhere for a few minutes." she said. "I suddenly was lifted up, as if flying, but could not see what or who it was." she then could only remember seeing her brother, and moving further and further away from him. She had reached out, trying to get back, and cried but nothing had helped. The next picture she remembered was her lying on the back seat of a car.

He stroked his chin once again as he listened to her story. Was it possible that in some way she was his sister? Or, was she a vampire that could read his thoughts and could quickly come up with the story so that she could wait for a chance to escape. Brandon could not be sure of anything at the moment. The power of a vampire was unlimited and they were always growing. There was always a new power to have to counter and perhaps she had one of those. " Very well. " He said calmly. " I shall leave you here. " He nodded to his soldiers who approached her. Each grabbed an arm and a leg as another with a large needle injected her with a sort of drug that was designed to kick back all the effects of a vampire so that the 'host' could have free will as it would seem. However, the process was very painful.

Alanna did not answer to Brandon, she was not sure whether he believed her or not. She was a vampire, and although the vampire in her still was young, untrained and weak, it had power over most of her actions. She herself, still wishing to be a vampire hunter, would not believe a vampire, whatever it would say or pretend. She sensed that something now was going to happen when some soldiers came toward her, pinning down her limbs although they already were fixed to the table by the metal rings. Being held down, she still tried to move away from the injection, since her childhood she had a phobia of needles piercing her, and although she always had tried to fight it, not knowing what the injection contained made it worse. When the serum entered her body it stung, like burning, and this feeling seemed to spread out all over her body in quickest time. Alanna felt as if back in this heated room, although without being able to make use of her vampire powers that kept her alive before. A battle had been fought inside her between Alanna and the vampire from the moment on she was bitten, always she had this fight on her mind, the two completely contradictory wishes, being or fighting a vampire. That the vampire did not win over soon also was the reason why the vampire powers could not grow and increase in their powers. Now that this anti-vampire vaccine was in her, it felt as if a part of her was ripped away, not physically but in her mind, she was torn in to and the vampire was caged, at least for a while. Alanna had her eyes firmly closed, the pain of losing a part of herself was immense, although on the other hand she felt a little relief as well, being free of this monster for a little while. She remained with closed eyes, not moving, trying to endore this inner pain, although it got lesser and lesser with the time.

Brandon watched from the back of the room with his arms folded. He knew that the vaccine would only work for a short time, however, it was all the time he needed to hopefully be able to bring back the actual woman who was behind the vampire. The vaccine had been created about a month ago in hope for this very thing, bringing those that had been transformed into vampires back to themselves for a short time so that they could be spoken with and explain what had happened to them. The vaccine would not take long now as very shortly the vampire side of her would be subdued.

The human Alanna had fully taken over now, and the vampire seemed like almost gone, although a feeling of heaviness deep down remained. Alanna could not describe this feeling any better, like a rock, pulling down her soul, so not physically. The pain had reduced rapidly, and slowly Alanna opened her eyes, looking around. She could spot Brandon standing a little away on the other side of the room, as well as the soldiers who held her down still, taking care so that she would not be able to try and escape in any way. She felt slightly dizzy by the vaccine still, but felt clearer than in the last few days.

Whenever Alanna opened her eyes he knew that she was indeed at the actual will of the human not the vampire anymore. He walked back over to her and looked down into her eyes. " What can you tell about your brother. Can you remember anything about him before you were taken from his life? " He asked kindly and with a kind smile as for he did not despise the human inside of the vampire, only the vampire inside of the human was who he sought to kill and destroy.

"My brother..." Alanna began, closing her eyes again and frowning her forhead a little, thinking hard about the past. "I was so young, I can't remember much." she at last continued and looked at him again. "The last picture of him was when I was taken away. He had dark blond hair, and dark eyes." she thought now about how she only could describe him more about her brother, especially as she had contemplated he could be him.

He stroked his chin thoughtly. He was still not conviced of who she was or whether or not she was telling the truth. He had submerged the vampire inside of her so that even if she had been reading his mind she no longer could be doing so. " I need you to remember...." He said calmly as he remembered back to that fateful day as a black van drove up and snatched his sister straight out of his hands and he cried out for her with tears in his eyes before picking up rocks and throughing them at the van.

Alanna tried to think of more, she was so young at this age she was parted from her true family. "He... he helped me when I once fell and broke my arm, brought me to the hospital." she remembered one short sequence of her past, then returned to the day she was abducted and taken to another family. "And on the last day with him... he shouted after me... and he was wearing a red shirt." she said slowly, it was difficult to figure more details of this special day that she had suppressed out of her memory successfully, until now. "Why are you asking all of this now?" she asked back.

He remembered what he was wearing the day of the capture and indeed it was a read Polo shirt. He still had the shirt, as a constant reminder in a way. He didn't even hear her final question as his mind was running with thoughts and emotions. He could barely contain himself. " What if i were to tell you that i know your brother....." He said calmly keeping his composer while asking the question.

Alanna had suspected before that this man in front of her had many similarities with her brother, reminded her of him, but she had to proof, she could not be sure. The vampire in her had felt that something drew her to him, something was about them that bound them together in a way, but this could not make her sure either. As he now told her that he might know her brother, her heart dropped for one second, it seemed her hope he could be her brother would be wrong for sure and she doubted he really would know him. She answered after one moment of thinking " You know him? How can you be so sure it is him, and not someone different?" she asked.

He couldn’t help but smile as he listened to her ask how he could know of her brother. “ Lets just say we work very very closely together.” He said with another smile. His emotions were so entangled at this moment he could think of nothing else to say. Here was his sister who he had not seen or heard from in the last 20 or so years and now he was staring down at her. He smiled and walked to where he was infront of her and smiled. “ Hello…My name is Brandon Smith.” He said with a kind smile. “ And your true name is Michelle Smith. It is good to see you sis. “ He said with a smile.

She had known it somewhere deep inside. That he was her brother. She had felt it, but had told herself that it just could not possible. He was smiling and it had made her suspicious when he came to wards her, she felt that it wasn't his friend who was her brother. While he was speaking, proving her right, her eyes lit up, at last she had found her brother. She couldn't believe it, and she had to smile at the way he greeted her. She did not quite know what to say, but grinned. "Really? well... Hello, bro... long time no see." she began, a little shy. "Michelle... this name always has seemed to be familiar in some way."
