After Brandon escaped the two vampires and some beast creature the helicopters continued to fly towards the nearest army base. He looked over at Alanna, who was sitting across from him with guns pointed in her direction. He looked down at his leg and for some reason the bones had already healed. He was unsure of how that was possible but he made no note of such a thing. He decided that he needed to question Alanna about that ring which was so desperately desired by the vampires and the creature. " Tell me about the ring. " He said loudly, as to speak over helicopter blades.

Alanna was sitting on the other side of the helicopter, her hands in silver handcuffs, weapons openly held towards her so that she would not even think of doing anything stupid, which would be suddenly try and escape, or attack, but sit silently and quiet. Her skin around the places the silver touched her already had turned a little red and was itching like hell, as vampires reacted allergic to silver. But she didn't cared. All on the contrary, she pretended to be staring to the floor while she took in every single movement of all the humans around her. She wished she would be in another situation now, but this was not to be changed. Formerly she would have been one of them, a vampire hunter and defender of humans, and she still wished she would be. She looked up to Brandon when he asked her about the ring, not sure if she should tell him. To whom should she be loyal now, the vampires or the hunters? She had decided this for herself within this flight already. "What exactly do you want to know about it?"

He looked at the vampire coldly, with no remorse of mercy in his eyes. He hated her kind and by now she defiantly knew that. " I want to know everything about it. From what it is, to why vampires and creatures alike desire to wield it. " He said calmly as he awaited her answer as the chopper began to hover meaning that they would soon land at the military base were around 200 soldiers awaited to escort Alanna to her new home. He looked around and saw that three more Black Hawks were covering their descent and he nodded to himself before facing Alanna once more still awaiting her answer about the ring.

Alanna sighed. Neither one of the vampires nor anyone else had told her much about this ring, mostly she could only guess. "It is called Ring of Power, there is none equal to it. It is said it makes the bearer almost unstoppable, he will be as stong as thousands of him all together if he wears it." she said, now wondering what Brandon would do with this information, no human strength would be able to stop any creature who owns the ring. She has decided to whom she was loyal now, and it were not the vampires. To much evil has happened to her and those she loves because of them, even, pushed her into this being without her wanting it, why should she help them in any way?

He listened to her speak and his eyes told nothing of his thoughts for his thoughts were not comforting. A ring of power in the hands of a vampire could be a very very dangerous thing. It could be even more dangerous if it were in the hands of a creature whose powers were already limitless. He stroked his chin as he thought trying to decide what the appropriate action to take would be. The helicopter landed on the landing pad and the men hustled Alanna from the chopper, guns still on her. They walked her down from the roof of the building into an elevator, down two more levels before taking her into a secluded room. The room seemed to be extremely hot and the heat was only increasing. The men shoved her into the room and closed and locked the door.

Alanna followed the men without any resistance, only looking around curiously to try and figure where they have brought her, but was not sure, save that it had to be a base of the human resistance. The room they shoved her in was hot, boiling hot. There was no furniture inside, it would have been ruined after short time. When they closed the door behind her and locked it, she twirled around. She did not want to stay in this room, she would be cooked in here after some time. "Let me out of here!" she shouted through the door, hoping they would somehow hear her. What did they want to achieve with putting her into this room, save getting her into a furious mood. She tried to listen one moment for any sound that came from outside, hoping they would unlock the door again.

Brandon looked at her through a two way window that was one of the walls of the room. " Crack up the heat. Lets see how strong a vampire she is. " He said calmly as the man standing next to him nodded and turned the heat in the room up to about 130 degrees and watched to see what Alanna would do. Vampires were known for their ability to regenerate so this would only burn their flesh a little, not harming them for the rest of their life. He didn't actually care if it did or not, but, after all, he needed to test his new machine.

As the heat increased and there was no sign that anyone would open the door to get her out. Alanna felt her own body temperature rapidly increasing as well. She closed her eyes to try and think of any possible way of how to survive this constant heat. She had heard that vampires were able to shut out their mind, shut out the feeling of being burnt and so would be able to survive without any severe injuries. She decided to give this a try, forced herself to not think anymore about this heat, although it was almost breathtaking and made her lungs feel like on fire. But she cowered now on the ground, leaning against the wall, trying to shield as much of her skin of the burning air as possible, while thinking hard and pretending that ice cold water would surround her. She hardly was able to speak now, didn't dare to open her eyes to see if the humans would stop this torture soon.

((The mirror is a two way mirror where only i can see in and you can not see me. ))
Brandon continued to watch as the vampire suffered through the extreme heat conditions. He figured that it would not take long for her to subdue to the heat and more than likely just pass out from exhaustion and thirst. After all, that was what he wanted to happen. He had a few tests he wanted to run. A few new drugs that he wanted to inject to see if he could somehow kill the vampire genetics from within the vampire without actually killing the vampire itself. He just had to wait for her body to be able to receive such a treatment.

((Okay... well, isn't that called one way window in english? but I'll change the upper post then.))
The air around Alanna and even the wall behind her seemed as if on fire, she felt how her lungs, her nose and mouth got dehydrated. Because of the lack of water or any other fluid she was unable to speak, her breathing felt like setting her whole body on fire, and she wished more than anything for water, or... blood. She was angry because of this treatment and so the vampire gained more and more power, she hungered for blood as she hadn't eaten anything in the last few days anyways, and that had made her weak, it had been a mistake she had not given in a little earlier, then she would have somehow seen a chance to escape this situation. But so, she was bound to stay in this room, not seeing or hearing anything, hopeless. Although she was concentrating on other things, on cool water, on the sea, on winter, on rain, her mind travelled back constantly to this situation. Soon, after several minutes she was near unconsciousness because of the lack of oxygen, she could barely breathe in this hot air. At last, she gave in, her head falling down to her chest and she fell to her left side. After all, she hasn't been a vampire for long yet, and she hasn't drunken and eaten enough in the last days so that she would be able to endure this situation.

Brandon watched for another few moments after she dropped of into unconsciousness. He nodded to his delta unit and they turned down the heat and moved into the room. The vampire side of her was by now in relatively complete control. The soldiers put a shot inside her so that she would be sedated. They took her limp body over to another room where a chair with steel straps for her hands and feet were attached. They laid her on the table and strapped her down. Brandon walked into the room and looked over the vampire woman. She looked strangely familiar. He scratched his head for a moment but said nothing. " Don't do anything until she awakes. I wish to speak with her. " THe men nodded and sat down and awaited.

Darness all around her, Alanna could not feel anything, nor move, her mind was somewhere completely else than her body. She did not notice the air around her cooled down, she got an injection and was carried into another room, where she was strapped onto a table. She did not even had any memory at the place her mind now was, she saw things and creatures that did not really exist, but somewhere deep down knew it could not be real. Slowly, the changing temperature reached her even in this strange world and called her back to reality, slowly, and she begin to feel again. She felt the cold metal around her wrists and ankles, and she was lying. She was not sure how she got herself into this situation, but to find our more she opened her eyes. All she saw was blurry although, she hardly could recognize any figures, this only slowly got better.

Brandon watched as the vampire finally came to. It was much longer than he had expected and he was a little shocked by the time frame. Apparently she was not a very strong vampire yet and did not have a very high immunity to such things. He hovered over her whenever she finally awoke and placed his hands next to her head as he hovered above her. " So tell me. What exactly is your name, where are you from and what brings you to the United States. " He said calmly. " My curiousity is what keeps you alive so i recommend you answer truthfully. " He said calmly.

Alanna recognized the voice, Brandon was talking to her. Slowly her sight returned and she could look around in this strange room she now was in, bound to this table still. 'Why should I answer any questions to you' she wanted to tell him, but did not speak it aloud, it surely would do no good. He had all power over her, to kill her or let her live, she better would do as he said. Neither did she have the power to resist him in any way, nor did she want to die. Her eyes fixed on him, she answered him in a weak voice "Alanna Carwin, born in London." she said shortly, not wanting to go into further detail than necessary. "Because of this ring... I was sent to the US."

He folded his arms as he hovered above her. He processed information that went through his head. London. He had been there a few times as a child with his family. There was also something else that had happened in London. His little sister had been taken been kidnapped and they never saw her again. It was not a vampire that had kidnapped her but only someone from the streets He shook away the image of him trying to save his little sister, but he was only nine at the time and she was six. He looked down at the woman and asked another question. " Tell me about your childhood? "
