Caught in the middle of a large gulp of milk, Arai snorted as he said that, nearly choking herself. Regaining her composure, she laughed and said, "Hardly!" It then occured to her that her statement could be considered offensive, so she turned to Pete, who looked a bit hurt, and said, "No offense, Pete. It's just that I've only known you for half a day." Switching her attention back to the newcomer, she assessed him with a practiced eye. He looked considerably older than both of them, and his demeanor suggested that he was used to fighting for his life. His hair was dark, and his eyes were wise, yet a fierce spirit lurked behind them. All in all, he was a leader, she decided.

((lol) Pete was elated to see Vincent, to welcome him to his new home. Pete eagerly jumped out of the window to greet his old friend with a pat on the back. "Haha, good to see ya Vincent, what took ya so long? And as for me, i was a little... preocupied." Pete said with a grin and a wink. "This is Arai, Arai this is Vincent. He was the one who... recruited me. And as for new members, a girl about Arai's age was turned a little while ago, i have yet to contact her." Pete told him. "Welome to our humble abode, the pizza is gone but we did save you the guiness." Pete said as he clapped Vincent on the back again.

"The Guinness is all that matters, for i've already eaten my share a few days ago, and i have learned how to preserve the food in my stomach for a long long time." Vincent said as he grabbed a Guinness, and bit the head off. "So who are might you be Arai?" Vincent asked before he started to drink the Guinness.

She shrugged nonchalantly. "Nothing special really. American, born and bred, normal life as an only child, graduated, about to go on to nursing school. Then I went on a camping trip. You can probably guess what happened from there. And I've been wandering about ever since; about five months now," Arai stated factually and emotionless. All her tears over her old life had been cried; there was no room for sadness in this new life. If that was even what you could call it. No purpose, no destination, no friends, only dreading the next full moon and avoiding people. Hardly a life at all.

She shrugged her slender shoulders. "Mostly. Just a bite here and there," she said. "But never humans," she added quickly. Yes, she had been thrust into quite a new life. From the lap of luxury to the streets. "My fighting sucks," she stated frankly, "I've never had to fight. My specialty is staying out of the way. Oh, and I was going to become a doctor, so I volunteered in hospitals and ambulances and stuff, so I know a lot of medical things. But I'm afraid I am of no use to you in the fighting area." Even if she could fight, how much could a 5'2" female do in a war?

"I can train you in self defence, if you want to, i learned self defence about 700 years ago." Vincent said as put away his Guinness, and then suddenly his eyes changed from red to black, to fit with his hair.

Arai allowed herself a grateful grin, flashing her straight white teeth. "That would be great!" she said enthusiastically. 700 years? He certainly didn't look it. "Are all werewolves as long lived as you?" she asked curiously. Why did his eyes change? Hers never did, at least not that she was aware of. She had so many questions about this new race she had been thrust into. But for now she saved them. She would discover the answers in time.

"Lycans are imortals, but they can be killed, much like vamoires, but we got less weakness'." Vincent said as he approached Arai. "A doctor you say? That can be quite usefull..." Vincent said to Arai.
