Cameron didn't honestly know the answer to the question but he had thought of a pretty logical one. " No i don't think so." He said calmly and then explained why, " We are just now figured out about vampires and about werewolves. We don't have all the knowledge of the chemical transformations. We haven't really had people to run test on or anything like that and some tests would have to be run during a full moon and it is just very dangerous very everyone participating. " Cameron concluded, " So we don't really have any of those books, i am sorry."

Her eyes scanned the books as she flipped through. With a small sigh of frustration, she put another one back on the shelf. "Well, then I guess I"m staying until the next full moon," she decided. As a science person, Arai was really interested in how this whole thing was possible. Opening another book, she browsed through the chapters. All these books said nothing about the other life of a werewolf; the one outside of the full moon. "Your men don't like me being here, do they?" she asked, eyes on the pages in front of her.

Cameron raised an eyebrow as she said that she would be staying to the next full moon. That was in a couple of days, eight he thought. " Are you saying you want us to run experiments on you? I don't know if that is possible, let alone how to begin. But, if you wish i bring scientists that do." Cameron said and then took a few steps closer to her and looked out the window as the rain began to drizzle down again, his men still moving around outside, " They are seals Arai, they my men," He said turning, " They don't mind as long as you don't try to attack. They will leave you be." Cameron finished.

"What else would I be saying by that statement?" Arai said with a raised eyebrow. "I want to know about this more than anyone, I would think. After all, it directly concerns me." Putting the last of the books back on the shelf, she sighed, her eyes searching for anything else of interest. "But I do hope you have a sutible room to hold a werewolf," she commented, "because when it's a full moon, I basically have a completely reversed personality." Sitting in a nearby chair, she put her head in her hands. "God, how I hate this!" she murmured. Arai liked control; losing that was very unpleasant indeed. Looking up at him with her piercing, almost golden, eyes, she shrewdly pointed out, "That's what Mr. Smith said too, and look what happened there."

Cameron sighed and leaned against a bookshelf, his back pressing against the spines of the books. He looked at Arai and then spoke again. He was still using his controlled and rather calm voice. “Well ma’am I can’t assure you of anything, very few things in this world are for sure and I will not be one try and make one of those even though that last statement somewhat sounded like a possible match. Look, what my men do is what they do, but they know the consequences of everything.” Cameron said, his voice becoming a bit sterner. Cameron leaned forward and then walked towards Arai, “Maybe you should get some rest.” He said comfortingly.

She sighed, standing up and rubbing her face with a slender hand. "Maybe I should," she admitted. "and don't call me ma'am. You're older than I am, for heaven's sake!" Arai shook her head at that. She didn't even look her age, either. Most people told her she looked like she was 16. She didn't know how old Cameron was, but is sure was a lot older than her. At least 25, she would say. "Since I was a bit distracted with that storm and all, then you lead the way," she suggested, walking out of the small room. She knew she would be coming back often, so she made sure to watch how they got back. Arai got lost easily.

Cameron nodded his head and beckoned for Arai to follow him. He didn't mind if she followed him. He didn't mind at all. He walked to the door of the library and opened it. He turned around, still making sure that Arai was with him. He then walked outside and there was hardly any rain falling. It was a light drizzle, nothing compared to what it had been. Cameron then walked to the elevator terminal and put in all the codes and the elevator took them up to the second floor and then Cameorn, with Arai, exited the elevator. They were passed by three guards, who all saluted Cameron. Cameron then went to Arai's room after taking a left onto the tier her room was on. 241, her room number. Cameron slipped a key into the lock and opened the door for her, beckoning for her to go inside.

Keeping one eye on the muscular man in front of her, Arai noted corridors, landmarks, doors, and basically anything visual that would help her find her way. Stepping out of the elevator, they met three guards, who saluted Cameron. She felt their eyes on her, curious and a bit wary. It could have been her imagination, but she felt a lot of animosity from them. Self-conscious, she stayed closer to Cameron, limping along as best she could. Entering the small, hospital-like room, she sat on the edge of the bed, her leg aching from the walk. "Have you found out the name of the lycan who was here earlier?" she asked curiously. Chances were, she probably knew whoever it was.

Cameron shook his head as he shut the door quietly. " No, i have been with you the whole time. You know as much as i know about the situation. However, i can check. One moment," Cameron said and touched the soundpiece in his ear, " Yes, this is Cameron, do we have anything on the werewolf that came in yesterday?" There was a pause. " Ok, is that all?" Another pause and Cameron frowned, but nodded his head anyway, " No last name?.....Fine...thank you, Cameron out." Cameron then looked at Arai and shook his head, running his hand over the back of his neck, " Pete, but that is all we have. We have a picture too, and you can take a look at it tomorrow if you would like." Cameron concluded.

She shook her head at the name Pete, dropping her head into her hands. Lifting her head, she looked up at the heavens as if asking for help. With a small laugh, she said, "No, that won't be necessary. I know him; he means you all no harm." She should have known; Pete was the only lycan she knew that would be foolish enough to try and break her out of a military base. "If you get me some paper, or a tape recorder, I can get him a message. You see, he probably thinks you are torturing me."

Cameron nodded, " Yes that was what he was going on about in the bar, so i think you are right in that assumption. Look, i will do you one better. I will get you the tapes from this room." Cameron said, pointing to the camera in the right corner beside the door. He then tapped his earpiece again and spoke, " Someone find me the tapes for room 241, have them ready by tomorrow, thank you." Cameron said and then shook his head and walked over to the desk along the left wall beside the bed, " There is paper here if you wish to write something, pencils in this drawer," Cameron said, opening a side drawer. " Anything else?"

Arai nodded in appreciation. She would write Pete a good long letter explaining everything. She might leave out the extreme torture that almost killed her, though. That would definetely make him upset. That could be bad. Very bad. Mostly for him; Arai had seen how much security this place had. She thought for a second, then shook her head. "No, I'm just going to take a shower and go to bed," she said, "Can I go to the library again tomorrow?" she asked. So many books, so little time to read them.

Cameron nodded his head and walked over to the door. He opened it once again and a gentle breeze blew into the room, causing the curtains to flutter in the wind. He then turned around and looked at Arai once again, " You are more than welcome to go to the library tomorrow. I will be up here with breakfast tomorrow, probably around nine." Cameron said and then smiled at her, " Goodnight." He said softly and closed the door.

"Night," she replied with a yawn. Getting up, she went and took a quick shower, glad to finally be having a routine of some sort, even if it was in a military base surrounded by hostile guards. Rubbing her red hair dry with the towel, she looked in the small mirror. The scrape on her face had almost healed; now she just looked like she had an acne attack. Clear skin was one thing she had always enjoyed. Her scar was still there, blemishing her otherwise clear skin all the way down her cheek. With a sigh, she got into the bed and closed her eyes, the soft dripping of the rain lulling her to sleep.

The next morning dawned clear, the sky mirroring the cerulean ocean below. The air smelled fresh, the way everything does after a big storm, and branches, leaves, and other debri littered the ground. Arai awoke about eightish, yawning sleepily. Walking to the window in her t-shirt and shorts, she stared outside, eyes scanning for anything of interest. She watched as a bird hopped about, poking its head under branches, jumping over leaves, its bright black eyes scanning for something. Her light brown eyes followed its erratic movements, wondering what it was up to.

Below Arai, men still ran about in the courtyard. It was evident by now that the courtyard was well in use and that everyone was more than eager to train. Two guards walked past the window that Arai stood at, never looking inside, they just kept their eyes looking straight ahead. The elevator dinged down the hall and Cameron came out, a bit groggy, but still walking straight. He carried Arai's food and he wore his usual green t shirt, well more like a muscle shirt and camo pants with his gun, today at his waist. Cameron came past the window and turned and smiled at Arai and then opened the door, walking into the room and and placing the food down on the dresser, " Did you have a good night's sleep? I don't think it stormed after I left." Cameron remarked.
