Adele dropped her hands as the Navy Seal approached, still cringing at the unpleasant smell of rotten meat surrounding them. The light from his flashlight was bright as Adele tried to get used to its shine again. She looked at him briefly, unemotionally, at his inquiry. At the sound, she turned in the direction it had come from, clenching her sore fists by her sides. The Seal’s light shone brightly over the area, but there didn’t seem to be anything there. Adele walked over quietly toward where the sound had come from and still didn’t see anything. She looked around at the cell nearby, displeased with the stench. The door of the cell had been opened and the Humans looked as if they had struggled. Underneath the slight decay, they did not seem to have been malnourished though. Biting her lip, Adele looked back at the U.S. soldier; this looked really bad, she knew. It wasn’t her fault these Humans were held captive until the night they would be hunted, but she felt like this Navy Seal would hold her responsible anyway. She was always getting in trouble that way. “I didn’t know this was down here…” Adele spoke softly, but without emotion, “But I guess they were held until full moons. And then released into the forest for the newly bitten ‘Pups’.” From behind her, the clanking noise came again, but it sounded as if it had moved. Adele turned quickly toward it, looking around for anything that could have been the cause, listening for any other movement.

Even though Cameron recognized that werewolves were a breed and they had to survive and they had to do what they had to, however, Cameron couldn’t help but feel a bit angered by the sight of the mauled and strangled human bodies. Just like werewolves, humans were a race of people as well and they didn’t deserve to be treated this way. Cameron was a military officer and he had a weapon and he was next to a werewolf, the very kind of creature that committed the acts that had transpired here. Cameron turned to her to answer what she had said but before he could, the noise came again. Cameron turned, pointing his light at the corner. Nothing again. That was unnerving. He didn’t have any other officers with him to help him or locate the suspect that was making the noise. Cameron had to get out of there, “We have lingered too long, let’s go.” Cameron said as he began to back away from the cells and towards the door, his head and gun moving back and forth.

This whole situation brought a sour taste to Adele’s mouth. There was something especially about the marks on the Human’s bodies just wasn’t right; there were lacerations and patches of missing skin, and from the skin color it seemed they had lost a significant amount of blood. Yet the stains of blood along the floor and walls was only minimal, and if a Lycan had killed these prisoners, there would have been limbs missing; the bodies would not have been as intact as they were. Adele could detect a slight apprehension in Navy man’s voice as he backed away toward the door, and she just watched him for a moment. She didn’t like just leaving with this threatening sense in the air. In a way, she felt as if she were Human again, going to ‘haunted houses’ near the time of Samhain (Halloween). She was never frightened by the house employees, but was always amused. Although she would always try to keep her wits about her in case a ‘ghoul’ would manage to surprise her, because her first instinct was always to punch them in the face or stomach. She’d been escorted out of a few houses because of that. Now, Adele wanted to find whatever the Hell was playing with them, and give them a good beating. This wasn’t some play house; this had been her home; a true home where she had had people that had actually cared about her, and people she had cared for as well. She stepped away from her position reluctantly, and moved toward the U.S. Seal, but looked back as she reached the door. Nothing. D@mn it. Adele looked up at the soldier’s hard features; she had been Human once too, and because of that she couldn’t completely trust him. But as long as he made no move against her, Adele would see that he came to no harm. Turning her back on the room and everything inside it, she paused, purposefully waiting to see if the feeling, this physically manifested threat, would attack. If it did not know she was Lycan, she would be the ideal target, considering she appeared unarmed and was half the size of the man next to her. She grasped her necklace of the pentagram. Behind her, in the darkness of the room, a large, black mass came forth. It seemed intangible at first, emanating dark static from its outline; but it soon took on a more physical form, developing hard and muscular limbs to mock the structure and stance of Humans. It stood tall, towering over even the U.S. Seal, and its shoulders were broad and bulky. Although not conventionally clothed, its sinister skin provided a hard shell that stuck out in jagged points and curves in some areas to convey a look of metal armor; large thorns stuck out from its forearms. Thick horns protruded from the demon’s head, curling out somewhat like that of a ram’s; and bright glowing orbs peered down at Adele and Cameron as if eyes. A powerful aura lay about him, and he swung a mighty arm at both of the beings before him. In his other hand, a dark vat of energy seemed to be forming. ((sorry the attack is so vague, but i hope it gives you something to work with))

Cameron wasn't usually scared by any sort of being or threating movements or whatever, Cameron just didn't get scared, it was against his nature. Of course those normal people have to understand that Cameron was in fact the most hardened of military folk. A couple months ago Cameron would have denied the very existence of vampires and the creature that he stood next to right now. A couple months ago, he lived a life that he could explain. Now, he lived something else, something that he couldn't explain and refused at times to try to explain because it just bewildered him so. So, there before Cameron was Adele, looking rather calm for the obvious seriousness of the situation. Cameron was retreating for crying at loud! That would have been surreal for anyone that knew him. Cameron watched as Adele turned to him, leaving her back to the door, to the room with the threatening being inside which at this time had yet to reveal itself. Cameron didn't really think it wise to do that, but he didn't say anything for a second, and would have after the next, however, the being the room that began to form, stole his breath and his voice. Well that creature was just freaking intimidating. I mean....dang. Cameron's eyes widened as he stood, looking at the beast, obviously a demon and bigger than any werewolf he had seen, and he had seen the mother of all. " What the f**k!" Cameron cried and shot to bullets past Adele and at the beast, which didn't do any good...duh. The demon swung its mighty arm towards Adele and Cameron and Cameron moved his arm to Adele and pushed her down, however didn't push himself down and took the brunt of the strike and was thrown against the wall, denting the steel. Well crap, that was one way to get rid of a marine for a while. Cameron fall to the ground, shaking his head, his body sort half dead and half pulsing with adrenaline, which Cameron couldn't decide which. All he could do at this time was watch, his body wouldn't respond to the commands his mind was giving them... " Get the hell out!"

Adele dropped to the ground at the soldier’s push. She had watched his eyes grow wide at the sight of the beast forming behind her, and her heart raced faster even before she could catch a glimpse of the demon. Anticipation was building in her, fight or flight no longer debating themselves; she had been ready to fight since she ran toward the room, and she did not want to get the hell out. Fumbling quickly with the zipper of her hoodie, Adele only slightly grasped the move the soldier had made to protect her from the demon’s blow. She threw down her hoodie, to salvage at least that, and ripped off her pentagram necklace. The U.S. Seal did not seem to be in good condition at all, and from the look of the wall behind him, Adele knew he had been hit with quite some force. She set her necklace into the man’s hand; the pentagram being a sign of protection against evil, and faced the large demon, standing between it and the Human. Cameron’s light had been knocked all over, but Adele’s sight was good even in Human form, and she could clearly see the dark figure even within the unlit hallway. This thing was unlike any other being Adele had seen, and the enormity of the situation was clearly laid before her as she got her first real sight of the demon. But she was all energy, even with the glowing eyes of this dark power glaring through her. Her transformation to the Lycan was quick and painless now, ripping out of her Human skin and clothes; the power passed to her from Perrin Goldeneyes had not been too difficult to adapt to after getting some of the basics down. Even as the white wolf-beast, she was still smaller than this demon, but size did not deter her. Snarling, Adele was hit straight-on with the evil energy released from the demon’s hand, because she knew of no way to prevent it. She wasn’t sure exactly what it was, and the effect was strange and thick through her chest. But Adele pushed forward, determined to attack this dark enemy, even though she was unsure of how to defeat this thing. She grabbed its shoulders and tried to dig her claws into his flesh, but just as it looked, its skin was tough and not easily breeched. It seemed too pointy to effectively bite anywhere, so Adele tried to push him off balance to expose his back. She succeeded in having herself thrown back into the wall, next to the U.S. Seal. This was the thing she had been so eager to reveal and confront? Silly Adele. She stood onto her hind legs and braced herself for another attack. Her resolve would not so easily die.

Cameron's body laid motionless on the ground. It barely looked like he was breathing and if you weren't looking closely at him, one would think that he wasn't. The men on the outside were completely blind as to what was happening and they didn't take a liking to it. When they couldn't reach Cameron on the wire, they decided to move into the building themselves. The last thing they saw of him, was him entering a basement with a supposed werewolf. They didn't know if their commanding officer was in danger or not and on instinct they knew they had to find out and help him if he was, so they started to move into the building and down the staircase, keeping themselves together and covering each other on all angles. Cameron was just now shaking his head as he rose to his knees and looked at the beast. He saw Adele going towards it in her wolf form. Well, that settling any doubts about her being a werewolf. Hopefully she would be able to defeat the creature.....nope. Cameron looked at her as she landed next to him and took a deep breath, which pained his left lung. He whispered, " Any better ideas?" He asked as he moved his hand slowly and painfully to his ear, calling for back up, but he couldn't get any reception. It was probably because of all the stone and steel walls down here, like a labrinth. That would make sense, a labrynth to keep this thing in and the humans were the sacrifices. Oh, comforting.

Odin. Adele spoke into the military man's mind with her own, and then added as an after thought to perhaps clarify for him, Magick. Pray to your god. The basement *was* like a labyrinth; the whole house had been, before it was blown up. And even Lycans who had lived here for years still got lost within the hallways on occasion. Adele and Cameron had not gone too far from the entrance they used, but there were still many other hallways that could be chosen before finding the one they now stood in. The backup of Navy Seals, depending on how thin they wanted to stretch themselves, might not find them for a good 5 minutes, which could prove to be a very long time. Adele advanced toward the demon with amazing speed, slamming it against the wall in turn. She growled threateningly and prepared to bite at the softest spot she could find along its shoulder, close to the neck. But under her grasp, the demon quickly dematerialized, and seemed to enter Adele through her mouth. Stepping back, the large white wolf brought her front paws up and shook her head violently, strongly disagreeing with the being inside her. But the demon had entered her body and taken over her mind, possessing her. Except for the slight change of her grey eyes to the color the demon's glowing orbs had been, Adele looked physically the same in her wolf-form as she had looked before. But she was no longer in control of her own actions. And she turned toward the marine who lay on the floor, against the wall; this would be too easy, the demon thought. The possessed Lycan grabbed the man by his neck, and lifted him up high along the wall.

God? What God? Cameron had never before believed in a higher power or a divine being. He had always been told of “God” in church when he was a boy but all that Cameron envisioned God to be was this big dude sitting on a cloud with a big scepter. Cameron sincerely doubted that anyone with that kind of life could help him now. Cameron watched as the demon dematerialized and then was gone. Cameron looked at Adele, wondering if she had vanquished the beast, but when he looked at her he could tell there was something different in her essence that he wasn’t exactly fond of. No sooner had he established this, was he picked up and shoved against the wall by Adele’s powerful paws. So basically the demon was possessing her, that was just dandy. Cameron had no way of knowing how to get the demon out so he did the only thing he could do to try to escape. There were two gunshots fired from Cameron’s pistol towards Adele from the point blank range they were in. The shots were silver, the damage they would do, Cameron wasn’t sure.

Both of the silver shots fired hit Adele dead-on into her chest, but the demon did not want to stop. The demon had not been affected, but Adele's Lycan body was suffering under the attack. Just as the demon planned, they would kill each other it seemed. The Hellish will of the demon continued to push Adele's body through the injuries of the silver, to see if it would break. The Lycan dragged the marine up and away from the wall to throw him to the ground. In the back of Adele's mind, where her will and control over her actions had been sent, she searched for what to do. She didn't feel there was too much she could do from the inside to get the demon out, but if Cameron kept shooting at her the demon might leave. He wouldn't be able to possess a dead body; that would solve that problem, but then she would be dead. This wasn't the way she thought she'd go, and she wasn't sure if she wanted to die like this. She began chanting protection spells over and over in her mind, but was unsure if they would have any effect or not. Her Lycan body loomed over Cameron darkly even against her white pelt; and the demon's eyes gazed at the Human in amusement. Many footsteps could be heard in the hallways nearby; it seemed the other U.S. Seals were getting closer.

The bullets would do and did damage to her but she kept throwing him around and this just simply was not good for her. In fact is what just down right bad. So fine then, they had to come out. All this time, Cameron was allowed to be himself, interact as himself, walk as himself, project his voice as himself, but the truth was, this was not what he had become. In his heart and down to the core, this was Cameron, but what now possessed him and it had far prior to this occasion was letting itself loose. They would not stand to let their only means to fight the vampires effectively die to some demon possessed werewolf. They were the same kin, from hell, lets see who would win. The demon or war took over with a spark and glow of Cameron's eyes. The demon took Adele's werewolf form and actually picked her. The demon increased Cameron's strength ten fold and he then hurled her towards a wall. Cameron stood, ready for a hardcore fight. The men were still nearing, if they were needed, hopefully they would make it in time.
( I hope i didn't god mode )

((not at all, >P this’ll be fun)) Adele was surprised, to say the least, when the U.S. Seal picked the entire weight of her Lycan body up and launched her across the hallway. But the demon inside Adele laughed as it hit the wall, creating a new dent in the steel. What an interesting turn of events this had proved to be; well, the fight would be more entertaining now. The Lycan’s body slumped over briefly on the floor, but in the next instance it was up and in front of Cameron, sending an uppercut into the man’s chest.

Cameron was one of those skilled people. Not only did Cameron have the ability of strength and speed, he also had fighting technique. Before the demons got to Cameron, he was already a warrior, trained to fight, training in hand to hand combat. He could block almost anything. In instinct, he moved his hand down and caught Adele's hand. However, he misjudged the strength of a werewolf and he was forced up and his body hit the ceiling. However, he came back down on top of Adele, his hands grasped around her neck as he folded underneath her, joking her.

The great Lycan beast shook violently as the possessed Human grabbed around her neck. The two silver shots dealt to her earlier were beginning to take hold. But the demon inside still fought and in a great motion of the Lycan's upper body, swung and bent over to loosen the Navy Seal's grip and throw him to the ground.

But Cameron was strong, stronger than a human, faster as well, due to those inside of him. Cameron held on. It was like riding a bull, a very big and upright bull, but like a bull non the less. Cameron nearly climbed up Adele until he was sitting on her shoulders and then he crossed his legs and attempted to spin, trying to knock the werewolf off balance and this bringing it to the ground, his legs locked and still chokking.

The Lycan's body side-stepped and hobbled on one foot for a bit, trying to maintain her balence. But she hit the wall with against her shoulder and then fell solidly to the ground. She clawed at Cameron's waist and arms, anything she could reach, trying to dig deep into his hardened flesh Squirming violently, her hind legs pushed against the floor, sliding the both of them back along the ground, and she tried to ram the Navy Seal into the wall.
