After a few hours of dropping Samantha off she had called and this time, instead of a gray van a red porche pulled up to the location that she had specified for them to meet. In the car was a young man who had been assigned to drive her to meet Brandon. He then awaited for her to emerge from the building.

Sam, had only moments before rang the only number on the card Brandon had given her, when she believed herself prepared. She had remarkably been able to remember where she had placed the card. Her mind had been in such a frenzy. She made sure she brought her voice recorder, any information she would need, would be better just recorded.
She descended the stairs of the apartment, not being bothered to use the lift. Exercise was good. Besides she never really took a liking to lifts. They were crazed inventions. She wore a dark blue cocktail dress, one she would have worn to any casual outing. Before she had been taken into the custody of the Resistance, her plans had been towards enjoying the afternoon and some of the night at the club, with the locals and tourists. But, they had somewhat changed, since then.
Arriving to find a red Porsche waiting out the front, she could do nothing but smile. These people sure knew style. She walked down towards it, wondering whether it was for her, or for some other rich lad…. She had only to hope it was. Another grey van, with six men and she might have turned back around and locked herself in the apartment.

The man who was sitting in the car looked over at her and smiled. " Miss Samantha. " He said as he got out of the car and went around to the passengers side and opened the door for her. " Please do get in. " He said with a kind smile. " Brandon is waiting for your arrival. " He said kindly as he awaited the woman.

Sam smiled, as he addressed her. She moved closer, as he came around and opened the door for her. She got in, “Thankyou.”
The car was nice. Actually a lot nicer then any cars she had travelled in, in her life. Most of them had been pretty run down, that was only because they were in pretty poor countries. But this, this was more then she expected. She had seen cars like this, only in magazines and such. She never thought she’d be in one though.

Once Samantha had entered the car and sat down the driver went around to the drivers seat and got back into the car and started it up once again. He drove very carefully as not to mess up her hair in any ways. In about ten minutes they were at their location. Outside of the building Brandon was standing were black slacks, black shoes, belt, black shirt with a red tie and a very sleek black suit jacket so that the pistol that he had holstered on his side would not be exposed. He came around to Samantha's side of the car and opened the door for her. " Shall we go inside? " He asked with a smile. " I assume you enjoyed the ride. " He said as he cast a glance over at the driver.

The ride had been enjoyable. She could compliment the driver for that. As they arrived, she was Brandon. He was dressed differently to what she had first seen him in, and it quite flattered him. As he came around and opened the door, she flashed the driver a smile, “Thankyou.”
She then turned to Brandon , “I am ready when you are ready,” she swung her small hand bag around her shoulder. It contained any items, that might help her gain any information, including her cell phone. She took a deep breath, “Yes. The ride was most comfortable. Thankyou.”

He smiled and nodded. " Your most welcome. " He said as he offered her his arm for her to hold onto as he then closed the door after she had excited the car. Brandon may have been a very rough and tough man but he knew how to be a gentleman in the presence of a beautiful woman. His parents had sent him to school for it whenever he was younger and apparently those simple lessons had stuck with him for the rest of his life. Brandon and Samantha walked into the building and went to their seats which Brandon had already reserved. It was a small table with some lit candles in the middle, a glass of wine still in the ice bucket. Brandon helped her to her chair before sitting down himself. " I hope it isn't to much, i like to do everything big. " He said with a kind smile.

Sam took his arm, and smiled. It was a friendly smile, that seemed to stay on her face. She moved with his stride, quite fluently. She looked around, nearly gasping out loud at how expensive it looked. Golly, how was she going to afford this? She was a journalist and hadn’t been paid really well for her last story, which concerned victims of a terrorist attack. But it had been enough, to get her moving again.
She took the seat with his help. Very gentlemen like, “It is wonderful,” she smiled, as he took his seat, “I did not think that a man such as yourself would go o such lengths just to give a reporter information,” she looked around. The candles making just beautiful.

He smiled and nodded. " Well like I said before, if you are going to do anything why not do it right. " He said with another kind smile as he looked over the menu to see what he wanted to eat. " Go ahead and order whatever you like, its on me. " He said as he glanced up at her for a moment then back down at the menu. " Steak sounds good." he thought to himself. " Maybe the lobster..No, to fishy. " He continued say to himself. Brandon loved food and sometimes could never decide what he should eat or not because of how many choices he would have before him. He would look up at her from time to time wondering what she would make of all of this.

Sam, took up a menu. Oh, it all sounding utterly delicious. But what she was in the mood for was another question. The prices were high, and then he said he would pay the price. She could really not allow that. She’d pay half, that was just the kind of person she was.
She looked up and down the menu a few times, listening to Brandon muttering to himself. She looked up at him and smiled, “Cannot make your mind up?” she asked him, with a gentle grin that placidly wiped across her face, in the candle light. For an officer, he sure knew how to please the ladies.

He laughed and nodded. " Something like that. " He said with another smile. " I would say that it is a toss up between either the Steak or the Fila maybe the Soft Shelled Crab or even the lobster. I am thinking more towards the crab, i love crab and steak. " He said with a laugh as he shook his head and looked up at her again, his bold dazeling smile could be seen through the candlelight. " What do you plan to eat? " He asked with another smile as he sat back and folded his hands gently across his chest as his gaze was now upon her as he noticed how lovely she looked. " You look beautiful tonight. " He said with another smile.

“Now, that is a hard question. Everything sounds so good,” she smirked, rolling her eyes over the menu again. What was she going to have? She looked up at him, catching a breath-taking smile in its moment. His of course. She bit her lip and returned her generous smile she complimented her, “Thankyou. You don’t look half bad yourself.”
She watched him sat back, and couldn’t help but run her eyes over him. She couldn’t help herself. But the candle light had magic of its own, and tended to show the finest features of any person. Sometimes it bewitched them. Sometimes, it was just special.

He smiled as a waitress came over to them and he politely asked her for a few more moments before they were ready to order. " Well, why don't you let me know what you are thinking of getting and i will let you know if it is any good. I have been here more times than i can remember, for business meeting or just outings with people so i would know what tastes good and what doesn't. " He said a for a moment he thought of all the friends he had brought here and then a small dark cloud seemed to come into his mind as he remembered all the ones that had died in this war and for a moment his smile left his lips before he simply sighed and shook away those thoughts and looked back up at her awaiting her answer.

Sam smiled, “Alright. Well, steak has always been good, for a nice hardy appetite,” she said taking a glance up at him, his smile had disappeared and the sigh that left him. Made her wonder whether something was wrong. Would it be intrusive to ask, if there was?
“Salads are always good for this time of the year. But that would make me look like someone, who really watches what they eat,” she grinned and took a glance up at him. Placing down the menu, “Seeing as you have been here before, how about you recommend something?”

He listened and nodded as she told him what she was thinking about eating. " Well i was never one much for salads and thus i have never tried one here so i wouldn't know. " He said as he stroked his chin thoughtfully. " But i do know that the steak is extremely good here. " He said with a nod. " So that would probably be my recommendation on the matter. " He said with a laugh. ' But, take no offense, i wouldn't take you as one who could eat a 16 ounce steak. " He said with another smile. " Of course i have been wrong like three times before so who knows. " He said with a laugh. " But i think i shall have the Crab. "
