Sam looked away for a second, noticing his glance back to his buddies. She gently had a sip of her drink and took a deep breath, before placing the glass down upon the bar, lifting her eyes to catch Brandon’s. A puzzled look crossed her face for a second, while she allowed him to speak.
“Brandon,” she shook her head gently, and bit her lip, as though she was disappointed, “You know my name. You know exactly who I am. Samantha Andrews, the reporter, does the name ring a bell?” she looked towards Perrin for a moment and sent him an apologetic look before looking back to Brandon. Had he really forgotten her? Was he playing around with her. It surly didn’t seem that way. It seemed as though she had been erased from his memory, if that was even possible.

This situation just continued to get more and more confusing for him. It seemed like this woman believed that she already knew him and acted as if she had had some long and deep discussion with him or something. It was all rather confusing to him but he wondered if she was playing a game with him and was just going of off what he had told her which was pretty much just his name. " Right....the reporter. " He said now deciding to turn the tides and go along with her. " I remember now. " He said with a smile. " Although my mind is a bit of from the drinks. You did a report on what again? " He asked

Sam gave Brandon another confused look and for a moment she was speechless. However, she also felt like she was being rude and a few stray eyes tended to linger towards her. She returned their looks and immediately their eyes retreated to another place.
“Vampires and Lycans,” she said just under her breath so he could hear her, “Last week you took me out to dinner, to help me with facts. You stayed the night and left the next day saying you would call.”
She stood up and moved a little closer to him, “But you never got around to that call, did you?” It made her body tremble when she thought about that day. Had she been mad or disappointed. She barely remembered. However, whatever cruel joke he was playing on her, would have to stop, “If you had no intentions of returning, why did you not tell me?”

Well now Brandon felt a little awkward. It made sense that giving an interview over dinner was something that he would probably do. However, he couldn't remember if he had done so or not, let alone remember a night spent with the woman infront of him. He wouldn't have defiantly remembered that, after all, look at her. He raised an eyebrow and was unsure really as to how to respond. " You must have me confused with someone else. " He said in a confused manner. " For i can truely not remember a thing about what you are talking about...." He said in a little bit calmer tone.

Sam’s eyes did not leave his, as she stood before him. She shook her head modestly, she knew she had not mistaken him for another, her mind had not been cheating her. Hey eyes had not betrayed her. By now, she knew he was not joking about with her. He seriously did not recognise her. She had to find proof, that she knew who he was, “I have not mistaken, Mr Smith. I assure you.”
She opened her purse and pulled out a card, “This is the card you gave me to call you on, and I daresay the number is familiar to your eyes,” she looked at him and slowly offered it to him, “And I cannot have mistaken, for I have your voice recorded for informational purposes,” she looked at him with a puzzled look and took a deep breath. In a way this was heart breaking, in another it was plain upsetting.

Brandon scratched his head as he listened to her and looked at the evidence she showed him. He took the card and looked it over. It was indeed his card. Everything she told him sounded exactly like something that he would do. Perhaps he had met this woman before. However, she seemed like she cared way to much about him forgetting her if he had only given her an interview. However, he could not recall a thing. " Well, perhaps you are right Miss, but as i said before, i do not recall who you are at all....Perhaps you might have to remind me. You seem like you care a little more than you should. " He said calmly and softly so that everyone else would not hear.

Sam listened to him, her eyes straying to the floor for a moment, as she tried to control any feelings that wanted to jump out and masquerade in front of her. She swallowed them back, and removed her eyes from the floor, to where she took them up to meet Brandon’s. She took a deep breath, and shook her head biting her lip, as he spoke to her, just softly so that only she could hear.
“Mr Smith,” she said quietly, so that others were not able to hear, in case it somehow ruined his reputation with his mates, but she guessed it wouldn’t, “We… we… It was more then an interview that passed between us. I don’t understand,” she shook her head again, as if she were confused, in which she was and let a single tear seek asylum somewhere far away from her eye, and let it drizzle down her cheek, “I don’t see… I…” she couldn’t bring up any words. Why now did these emotions want to strike her down? And make her appear as though she was not strong. She immediately took her eyes away from Brandon then, she couldn’t let him see that it hurt her, that he had forgotten. But it was only one night. How could it seem to hurt so much?

He looked around at his men who were by now minding their own business, not really caring what their commander did. Brandon looked into the woman's eyes. She seemed extremely upset about this whole situation and Brandon was not to excited about making her that way. He could honestly not remember the whole situation. " I am very sorry. " He said softly and kindly. " But i can't remember anything that i have done for the last two weeks. " He said as he scratched his head. " My men have just filled me in on some mission briefings but everything in my personal life i guess is just gone. " He said in a confused tone.

Sam paid attention to what Brandon said. In truth it confused her as well. How could one forget everything that had happened in the past two weeks? She lifted a hand to rest behind her neck, and she took a deep breath, “I don’t understand how… this could happen,” she took a deep breath and looked around for a moment, the club seemed wild with activity, however everything that passed Sam seemed to go in slow motion.
She dropped her hand from her neck and bit her lip, “So where do we go from here?” She had no idea, of what should happen now. Should they both just forget that either of them existed and spend a life time wondering what if? She had no idea what was going to happen now. Wasn’t the saying, bad things happen for a good reason? But what was the good reason behind this?

Perrin had finished his drink, during the time he had drunk it he watched as Brandon and Sam argued about their predicament. His first assumption had been right, these two had obviously met before and now Brandon was either lying or had actually forgot about Sam. Perrin thought about returning to the dance floor and leaving these two to sort out their issues, but instead he sat their and continued to watch more for amusment than anything else.
He sat there obviously excluded from the conversation as there had been no introduction. Yet again; how could there be when the man denied even knowing her? Shruggin his shoulders Perrin ordered another beer and looked around the bar.

He scratched his head once more, not really one to know what to say in this exact instance. " Well..." He said softly. " You are the one who remembers whatever happened between us. If you believe that something happened enough between us that you can not do without then i shall give it a shot as well. " he said softly. It was about all he could think to say. She was an extremely beautiful woman so he would not mind getting to know her at all.

Sam took a deep breath. She was so utterly confused about the situation, she hardly knew how to keep herself standing up. She looked over at Perrin for a second, whom glanced around the bar, obviously feeling a little left out. She turned back to Brandon, and sighed, "I guess we can get to know one another, over again. See where it goes from there."
She felt bad about leaving Perrin out when he had been so nice to her, so she decided to introduce the pair, "Umm.. well," she said turning to Perrin, "This is Brandon Smith, a f...friend of mine," she glanced back at Brandon, "Brandon, I'd like you to meet Perrin whom I happened to meet here just half an hour past."

Brandon nodded and smiled. " I would like that very much. " He said to her comment about getting to know one another once again. She must have had some deep feelings for him or she would not have gone through all of this just to be able to speak with him. He turned and looked at Perrin whenever she mentioned him and he extended his hand in greeting towards the man. " It is a pleasure to meet you sir. " He said with a kind smile.

Sam smiled. Would they be able to find that spark that had them going in the first place? Or would they just terminate it, and leave it as a mutual friendship. At the moment, she still remained confuzzeled about what had happened. How could one forget what had happened in the past two weeks? Perhaps a mission had gone wrong. She really had no idea, how to react. But, inside just told her to go with the flow.
She watched the barman bring over the drink Brandon had ordered moments ago. How was she to break into conversation? She could not just come out with, how have you been, that just wouldn't seem right.

Perrin took Brandons hand shaking it twice before releasing it. "Nice to meet you too." Perrin said he was now standing in front of Brandon leaving his seat behind. Looking over Brandons shoulder he noticed the men who had arrived with Brandon standing and watching both Brandon and Sam, fishing in his pocket he pulled out some money and handed it to one standing closest. "Round of shots on me" Perrin said and watched as they walked away from Brandon and Sam. Turning back he leant forward and gave Sam a peck on the cheek. "Hopfully i'll see you some other time." Perrin said before straitining back up. "I'll leave you two to it." Perrin dissapeard into the crowd and caught up with the guys who had the tequilia shots all ready, taking one he took it in one swift shot and walked into the middle of the dance floor.
