Wellington Hospital is Wellington, New Zealand's main hospital located in the suburb of Newtown on Riddiford Street. It is the main hospital run by Capital & Coast District Health Board (C&CDHB), the others including Kapiti Helath Centre, Kenepuru Hospital and Porirua Hospital the latter providing many of the regions acute in-patient mental health services. Wellington Hospital is the region's tertiary hospital with services such as complex specialist and acute (or ‘tertiary’) services, procedures and treatments such as the Intensive Care Unit, cardiac surgery, cancer care, cardiology procedures, neurosurgery and renal care. The Hospital is a tertiary referral centre for the lower half of the North Island and the upper half of the South Island, including the Chatham Islands.
It is affiliated with the University of Otago and has The Wellington school of Medicine and Health Sciences situated adjacent to the hospital. C&CDHB are currently building a new regional hospital on the existing site known as the NRH Project, the programme of work includes demolition of some of the older buildings, refurbishment/upgrade of others and the construction of a new main building including wards spread over 47,830 sq metres.
As an need of medicine at the military camp outside the capital of New Zealand was needed, the military medic Dan had been sent to get some. It was in great speed he drove as it happened and carefully he parked the car on the spot not far from the gate to the hospital, he stepped out and locked the door before starting to move.

A bright red jeep roared through the streets, pulling up in front of the doors and screeching to a halt, the flashing crimson siren wailing the emergency call to the people inside. Instantly they rushed out, two nurses wheeling out a gurney. Iris jumped from the car, opening the door and landing in one smooth movement, before it had ceased to move. Carefully yet rapidly, she had the girl out of the car and on the stretcher. Removing the sleeping bag, the nurses secured her so she would not tumble off in their hasty flight. A doctor emerged after them. This was Dr. Shwartz, long time acquaintance of Iris. He noted the blue pallor to the girl's skin and the battered, unresponsive body and began to rap out orders. In a short time, the girl was being rushed to the ICU for immediate care due to severe hypothermia and bodily lacerations. Iris lingered at the car a moment, turning to Perrin, the driver. "Your services were much appreicated, and I am sure the girl would thank you were she conscious. Without your car, she probably would have died. You are welcome to stay, if you wish to see the girl once she awakens, but your choice is your own," Iris said. Closing the side door after placing the sleeping bag inside and grabbing her backpack, she detached the siren, cutting the ear-piercing shriek abruptly. As she put it in her bag, she automatically noted her surroundings, including the young man who stood, approaching the door. He had an interesting look about him; Iris recognized it well. Military. One could tell by their eyes. But now was no time to gather information about him. Without a backwards glace to see what Perrin would do, Iris strode indoors after the figure of Dr. Shwartz.

Ebony felt a jolt when she was put onto the stretcher, it was like waking up out of an incredibly deep dream for her. She was able to open her eyes slowly and only for a few moments, she did not even realize what it actually was she saw, all felt so blurry. She quickly was rolled into the hospital on the stretcher, but she saw one person, a man, standing near the doors while watching the scene. She saw his face, and for a short moment it seemed she caught his gaze before she fell into unconsciousness once more, the exhausion in her body was too tireing.

Daniel who had just arrived the hospital, was caught with a surprise as an red jeep rolled along the street and stopped with great rush. Out of the car a young female was taken out and needed care immediately by the nurses and doctors inside the hospital, he himself rushed over to help for a moment and quickly scanned her body to see what had happened. He only noticed a few bruises and wounds but could see she was unconscious by some reason, quickly he helped her along the others until they reached the door. There he stopped but kept following slowly as the other rushed further ahead. Something about her was attracting him to wards her but was not sure about what it could be, as her friends followed he watched curiously but was glad they had gotten her at the hospital in time.
He himself wished to help more but was difficult as he was just an military medic and the others was more professional, without carrying about the others he followed as he wanted to save her life. If he managed to save a young womans life it would greatly cheer up his day as nothing more happened in the military camp then training and preparing for battles, many things was happening to the world and therefore all the soldiers had to be ready in every country and region.

Iris followed the doctor, keeping stride perfectly with him, her dark combat boots and black attire contrasting strongly with his white coat. She still wore no shirt; only a sports bra. The shirt was currently on the girl. Dr. Shwartz talked as they walked briskly through the white corridors, taking a different route to the girl's room. "What happened to her, Iris?" he questioned curiously. "I know little, doctor. I was taking my morning run, and she was washed up on the rocks, practically blue, bruises all over her. She looked like she had taken quite a beating - she was slightly responsive at first, but then she slipped into the coma." "Strange work is afoot, methinks," the doctor replied after digesting this information, "What have you gotten yourself into this time, Iris? But I am glad to hear that you still keep in top condition. Though you may want a shirt." he commented dryly, grabbing a shirt from the locker room they were passing through and handing it to her. Iris put it on, more out of sanitary reasons than anything else. She had noted the stares of some of the male orderlies, but when they saw who it was they looked down again. It did not embarass her. As they passed by a windowed room, Iris saw the same man who had been at the entrance following them at a distance. She was instantly on guard, though not too defensive. Usually people did not just come into a hospital to attack someone. She slowed her pace, as did the doctor, though he did not know why she did so. After knowing Iris for so long, he stopped questioning what she did and just followed it. Things turned out better that way. Stopping abruptly when the man had caught up to about four yards away, Iris gazed at him out of her dark eyes. "State your business with the girl," she directed.

Perrin finshed his cig , flicking it onto the ground he crushed the end with his foot. Lifting his hood he walked into the hospital doors leaving his jeep parked outfront with it's hazard lights on. After a few directions from the nurses he walked up a corridoor where he saw Iris staring into the eyes of another man who seemed to be following the Dr. 'That women needs to calm down.' Perrin thought to himself as he caught up with them, walking past he caught up with the Dr who wheeled her into a private room Perrin sat himself in the corner on a chair and watched as the Dr ordered people about. "You know her name or family members?" The dr asked Perrin pulling him out of his day dream. "No sorry, they said they found her washed up on the beach." Perrin said his hand had a zippo in it and he was flicking the lid open and shut a habit of his when he was in a akward situation. He looked at the door wondering what Iris was doing. The dr turned away and had put a IV into Ebonys arm. Perrin stood and looked down at the gril lying in the bed, she still had a blue tinge to her skin but her lips had regained some colour, the red contrasting with her pale skin, he watched as he eyelids fluttered as if they were about to open then they stopped, her chest was begining to rise and fall in a rhythmic motion; though Perrin was no Dr he knew that must be a good sign.
