Namir strolled along the market streets of Vietnam, men shouting things and waving raw fish in the air from the counters of their stands. The air was thick with the rusty smell of blood that dripped from the fresh meat hanging on meat hooks from all directions of the vendors counters. Namir hadn't eaten in days, the smell tempted her, her eyes widening with craving, and her movements becoming more sharp and pronounced. Her stomach roared and as her animal instincts kicked in, the crowded market street was filled with tempting humans, the smell of each one filling her nose with their natural perfumes. She had to get out, or someone was going to get hurt, no matter how hungry she was, she couldn't hurt an innocent human. Namir darted into a dark alleyway and behind a dumpster. She peeked around the metal mass to make sure no one had followed her, and changed into a wolf. Namir then ran out into the mass of people, growling and snarling, the people shouting in vietnamese. "Oh crap, what am I doing?" she thought. Then she caught a glimpse of the meat on the hooks, and jumped up on the counter, sinking her teeth into a set of ribs and pounded off out of the streets and the crowds, snarling at any bystanders, and hoping she wasn't being followed.

Of course she was being followed, as Pete's prodige she was just as trouble-prone as himself. The plan was to keep an eye on her, make sure she doesnt cause to much damage, make sure she doesnt eat anybody... she was new to her new life, and in the beginning its hard to control the beast. Until the time she could control the wolf inside, Pete would have to be her shadow. But, things could be worse, this way if someone got shot, they have a friendly face to make it all better. Darting from building top to building top he found her in a secluded alley, digging into some raw meat. "Not again.... Namir, what did I say about stealing from the humans?" he said, scratching her behind her ear. "Just be glad nobody saw you transform... you really should be more careful... I would really like it if nobody was shot this time." Namir was quick, but she still had much to learn.

Namir wagged her tail at Pete as he scratched behind her ear. In truth she wasn't surprised that he had followed her, infact she'd almost expected it. Pete was usually checking up on her, playing more of a big brother role. She transformed back. "Okay, when you're hungry, and you have no clue as to the currency system and if someone will rip you off, you have to do what you have to do." she smiled, "Nice to see you again, Pete. I would've offered you some, but you know, ravenous wolves aren't that into sharing." she teased. Namir picked up the scraps of her meal and tossed it in the dumpster. "How're things? Arai and all that?" she raised her eyebrow at him, folding her pale arms across her chest. "And just for the record, I hope I wouldn't eat anyone, but they smelled good... and I would almost be doing them a favor with some of the poverty around here." she glanced around at the filthy alley way, the rats squeaking at the roar of the street, the swing of meat cleavers of the vendors and the cheap garments shriveled Vietnamese women were selling. "I'm trying to exercise some control." she smiled her teeth gleaming in the light.
