Now was not a time to be outside. The thin figure of Moore was still visible through the baggy coat she wore around seductive body. The cold breeze was the only as her quiet footsteps moved quickly across the damp concrete sidewalk. She glanced from side to side keeping aware of her senses. Then she felt it, a presence. 'Not alone' It was following her. She shuddered slightly....

It was a dark night, the bright moon filtering through the puffy clouds that covered the sky. He ran from rooftop to rooftop, his movement shrouded by night. Pete stood perched on the side of the old chapel, kneeling amoung the statues, an ever-vigilant sentinal. A guardian. His eyes burned gold as he scanned the streets for any signs of criminal activity. He was a self proclaim vigilante, bringing justice to an otherwise rutheless and unforgiving world. He fought for those who couldn't fight for themselves, reaching his hand out to all who reach for it. A streak of thunder pierced the sky, a low grumble erupting from the heavens as it began to rain. Wonderful... And then he saw her. Walking alone down the streets. But something was odd, he sensed another being down there. It was moving faster than the girl, headed in her direction. The man was clad in all black, his hand reaching into his coat pocket, producing a bladed weapon before catching up to the woman. Pete chose that moment to act. He leapt down off the building, touching down gracefully on the sidewalk below him. He caught up to them with inhuman speed, dissapearing into the night with nothing more than a gust of wind to mark his departure. The moonlight glinted off the blade as the man prepared to make his move, the woman still unaware she was being stalked. His mind reached out to hers, his voice entering her mind. Look out. You're not alone. And without another word he appeared between the mugger and the girl, knocking the blade from his hand, quickly following with a hard punch to the stomach and a kick to the chest, sending the man into a brick wall. A groan could be heard as he slumped to the ground. "You alright?"

She whipped around as the her would be assailant what knocked to the ground. The man's blade to wet stone with a loud clank. He dashed into the darkness away from. Before she even realized what she was doing, her arm shot into her cloak quickly pulling out a handgun and pointing the weapon at the new man in front of her. "Stay away!" She yelled. She began backing away from the man, her face covered in shadow from the cloak she wore. After a few steps, the heal of her shoes hit a bump in the concrete and slipped backwards but managed to catch. Yet as she so, her hood fell from her head. Pete's eyes narrowed as her saw the gorgeous creature before him. Her beautiful, dampening in the wet weather.

His voice once again penetrated her mind. Don't shoot. Put the gun away. His eyes momentarily glowing gold as he slowly put his hand on the gun, lowering it to the woman's side. She appeared to be several years older than the sixteen year old Pete. "My names Pete, you could say I'm a bodyguard. Lucky I found you in time."
((whoa, writer's block))

"Yes...thank you." She said very reservedly. She had a second to survey the young in front of her. He appeared to in his late teens, stockily built. Obviously, a super human of some kind. She could tell he was attracted to her, no harm in that. He had saved her, and that deserved thanks. She smiled slightly, but the smile vanished when she heard a sound in the distance. She whipped around, her voice smooth trembled as she spoke, "Something's coming."

((attracted to you am I? xD)) "Try not to yell." He instructed her, the breeze rustling his blonde hair. It was amazing he was able to lift her with such ease, he weighed only a little more than a hundred and a half. Again the gust of wind was the only thing marking their escape. His Lycan powers alowed him to move faster than the human eye could see, giving the illusion of dissapearing. The two re-appeared back on the chapel roof, Pete setting the girl back down onto her own two feet. "You'll be safe up here." And without another word, he was gone into the night. If you find yourself in need of me again, don't hesitate to call. He had a feeling it wouldn't be long before he heard from her again, she seeed like the type to get herself into trouble.
((btw, since ur new here, italics = telepathy. Lycans can speak to others through a telepathic link.))

OOC: Ok, you take a while to post don't you.
IC: Hmm, well this keeps getting stranger. The cold night was even colder atop the chapel roof. Luckily, there was a balcony upon which she could climb to without much trouble. Being on top of church in this city at night was not a good idea. In fact, there were so many beasts rampant across the world currently, nowhere was safe. She climbed into the top floor of church, safe from the rain. She thought to herself as she rested alone. The secret of herself, which she used to be so ashamed, was beginning to turn into the greatest blessing. Moore was a changling. Not a werewolf, or anything particularly sinister, but she could morph into nearly any humanoid being. She sat there alone, or so she thought.
