The town was grey, just as Adele had remembered it to be. Another beautiful day in Würzburg. Clouds covered the sun and the sky threatened to pour down rain at any moment, but as of yet no drops had fallen. There was no wind, but it was cool out. Not many people walked the streets at present, most were in school or at work. But one car did drive by Adele, slowing down and honking as they passed the blonde teenager. She did not know the boys inside the car and gave them a hateful stare, raising her middle finger to them. They shouted back insults and sped off, leaving hot tire marks on the street. Adele couldn't deny that a small part of her missed telling guys to f*ck off, but the majority of her did not miss this city. She wasn't even quite sure why she had returned. She did not really plan on dropping in on her mother, why visit someone who probably hadn't realized she'd left in the first place? Although Adele was interested in seeing what her old friend Dierk was up to, but how would he react after not seeing her in over a year? The girl sighed, and looked up at the cloudy sky. Ahead of her loomed a darker patch of clouds, and there was thunder in the distance. Adele felt a cold shiver chase her spine, and she zipped up her black hoodie. But the holes in the knees of her jeans still let the cool air in as she walked down the sidewalk toward a particular convenience store she and a gang of people used to loiter. Shaking some hair out of her face, Adele walked around to the back. There was no one there now. But this was where she'd been reunited with Mathias after he got out of prison. And this was where she'd met Perrin Goldeneyes, Second of the Werewolves, for the first time. She turned out of the alley and continued into the town toward where she knew of other places the gang liked to loiter.

Perrin walked around the store buy a 6pack of what he hoped was beer, it was in German so he was only guessing. Walking to the counter he out down the 6pack and tried to tell the man that he wanted some cigarettes, after a few minutes of arument he gave the man money and walked out of the store. Perrin pulled up his hoodie and put a smoke in his mouth. Reaching into his jacket pocket he pulled out a lighter and lit the end of his cigarette, the flame lit up his face and his eyes. Filling his lungs with smoke he exhaled and watched as a women walked past him, his eyes met hers for a split second before she kept walking. Perrin heard alot of noise coming from the alley ways near the shop and his free hand went behind his back and came into contact with his pistol. There was something about the way that women had looked at him that sent a chill up his spine. Perrin opened a beer and skulled it before throwing it towards the bin. Where the hell was his taxi he thought as he took another drag from his cig.

Adele met the man coming out of the store with the same cold stare she approached everyone with. Not really seeing him and acknowledging an interaction of their passing. Just glancing, recognizing the man’s position, but silently telling him to stay back. Looking without really noticing anything of his features. At least, that’s what she usually did. But this stranger’s eyes caught her attention as he lit his cigarette. Gold. How strange, Adele thought she was going crazy; this was the second Human she’d come across with the same eyes as the Lycan who’d changed her. She stopped, and turned back around to face the man, approaching him as he threw aside his empty beer bottle. She spoke to him in English, since it was likely he spoke it; most of the town did because of the U.S. military base nearby. “Can I bum a smoke from you?” Fishing into her jeans pocket for a lighter, Adele smiled subtly to the man.

Perrin was suprised when the girl turned and began to walk towards him, he released another lung full of smoke, this time through his nose. "Sure" Perrin replied chucking her his pack, he watched as she pulled one out. Reaching into his back pocket he grabbed his lighter. "Need a light?" Perrin said as he chucked the butt of his smoke into the gutter before opening another beer. Perrin smiled and took a sip."Don't normally drink by myself but i felt like some beers."

She grinned as she caught his pack of cigarettes and pulled one out. Handing the pack back to him, she pulled out her own lighter, "No, I'm good. Thanks." She lit her cigarette and smiled sideways to him, laughing softly at his comment, "It's never too early to crack one open." Adele probably didn't seem old enough to legally go to clubs, but she'd been to her fair share, and supported the lifestyle. Taking a couple drags of the cigarette, Adele couldn't help but stare at this guy's eyes; she wanted to know more. "So, you waiting for the bus or something?"

It's never too early to crack one open." Perrin laughed, nearly choking on his beer. "Ain't that the truth" Perrin was used to people looking at his eyes, but there was somthing about the way she was looking at them that sent a chill up his spine. "Waiting for a taxi, was supposed to be here ten minutes ago." he said blunlty and checked his watch. At the corner of his vision he would see her looking at his eyes.

Adele laughed at the stranger's response, and brought a hand up to cover her grin. As the man said he was waiting for a taxi, if became apparent to Adele that he wasn't from around here, or at least had never tried to use the taxi service in this city. "Oh," she grinned, "You might be waiting for a while..." There was only one taxi service in town and all of the drivers were people Adele used to hang out with; friends of friends, cousins of drug dealers. Not the type to go by a schedule or arrive anywhere on time. And their bosses weren't any better. Looking down, Adele took in another breath of the cigarette. The rim of the paper lit up orange, and unveiled ashes that fell from the end of the stick at Adele's flick. "You look familiar. Are you in town often?" She looked back up at the stranger, unaware of the effect her stare might be having on him.

Perrin sighed when he heard that he might be waiting for a while, she seemed to know what she was talking about so he believed her. He took another sip of his beer and pulled his hood off his head as he sat down on the gutter. "You want a beer?" He didn't know why he offered her one, he was normally quite selfish but she was good company. "Just visiting family, not my kind of place, quite a depressing sort of town."He replied. His uncle lived by himself here as his wife had passed away not long ago, Perrin dropped in every few months. The depressing atmosphere wasn't helped by the fact that it was overcast with threatining grey clouds. He had heard that there were some loud clubs around, he might get himself drunk at one tonight. "How bout yourself, you from around here?" Perrin asked intrigued to know more about the girl that stood before him

Finishing the cigarette, Adele dropped it at her feet to step on. She watched the stranger sit and take off his hood; it wasn’t so exact, but there was still something that reminded her of Perrin Goldeneyes in his features. "Sure," Adele smiled and sat down next to the man on the curb, "Thanks." She opened the beer, and rose it slightly toward the man before taking a drink of the cool liquid. Nodding, she looked out at the empty street at his description of the town, "No kidding. I was born here; it’s pretty bad." She laughed softly; quiet thunder rumbled overhead in the background, and Adele picked at the fray of the hole in the knee of her jeans. "There’s a bus that runs through here sort of regularly, if you really need to get out. I think it just makes stops in the city though: at the bigger bar, a gas station, and at the police department. Not too sure about any other stops it makes." Adele laughed a bit at the only bus stops she knew of for certain; if sharing cigarettes and beers with a man she just met didn’t say anything about who she was, that answer sure did.

Perrin heard the soft rumbling of the thunder in the background and was just glad it wasn't raining here, yet. The mention of a bar caught Perrins attention strait away. "Think i might catch a bus then." He said with a smile. The last of the cool liquid poured down his throat as he finished the beer, he reached behind him and grabbed another from his box. Atleast he had something to look forward to know, go find a club get drunk and have a good time. The hangover the next day didn't worry him, as long as the night was good then it would be worth it. "Names Perrin by the way." He said realising he hadn't even introduced himself. "You go to any of the clubs much?" He asked. Perhaps she would like to join he thought to himself.

Adele had caught herself just in time, a second sooner and she would have been the one to choke on her beer. But the liquid hadn’t yet passed from the can, and she brought the beer back down to her lap at the man’s introduction. Did he just say his name was Perrin? It couldn’t just be a coincidence, she thought. No, it had to be; there was no way this Human was any relation to Perrin Goldeneyes. Hell, he probably didn’t even know there once existed such a man. Well, Lycan. Convincing herself of that, Adele took the sip of beer and smiled to her new drinking buddy, “I like that name. It goes with your eyes.” She took another healthy swig of the drink, “Yeah, the clubs here are pretty crazy, it's always a good time. I’m Adele.” She hadn't actually been to one of Würzburg's clubs in over a year, but the rest of the town hadn't changed in that time, so why would the night life? It wasn't like any of the thugs Adele use to hang out with actually gathered up the motivation to leave this crap-hole city.

Perrin looked at Adele with a raised eyebrow. "Care to explain how my eyes go with my name?" Adeles name switched on something in his head, he couldn't quite place it. If he had thought hard on it he would have remebered his parents telling him of a women called Adele who inherited the orginal Perrin's power. He was young when they had told him of Perrin Golden Eyes' history and he was now a few beers shy of being tipsy so was not in the right state of mind to remember his past. Perrin shook his head to clear out the busy thoughts brought on by Adele mentioning her name. "Well nice to meet you Adele. Perhaps i shall see if the clubs are any different from the city. Im guessing you know your way around the night scene, if your not busy i'd welcome your company." Perrin said flashing a cheeky smile towards Adele.

“Not really,” Adele said in response to whether she would like to explain her comment, but then laughed and shrugged a bit, “It just works; a distinctive name for distinctive eyes. I would have been surprised if you’d said ‘Alex’ or something.” She smiled softly to convince him that was all she had meant. Finishing the beer, she set the can down in the street by her feet, “The city hides its life in the clubs.” She couldn’t really help but smile at Perrin’s grin, a bit taken aback, “I’m never too busy to go to a club.” It’d been so long it would be refreshing, and perhaps she would run into some other people she knew. This guy seemed pretty cool anyway, Adele thought.

"Guess it does, both kind of run in the family; the name was decided hundreds of years ago." He realised he probably sounded crazy. Picking up his last beer he savoured the flavour, tho it was good he missed his favourite brew from the small country of New Zealand. He smiled again when she agreed to go to a club with him. As if on cue a taxi came around the corner that looked as if it had been through a warzone. Standing up from the curb he waved the taxi over. "So whats one of the clubs called here?" he said as he opened the door for Adele.

"Yeah?" His name and eyes ran in the family? But this man was no Lycan; Adele waited to see if he would say anything more of this. Perhaps she was just biased and being paranoid, though. This was very interesting. She stood, too, as the cab came around the corner. The paint on the outside of the car was chipped and falling away in places, especially above the tires and near the door handles where there were rusty brown patches. And the number of the taxi was hard to distinguish. Adele couldn't help but grin in amusement at this sight, and she got into the back of the cab, sliding over for Perrin. "Ausgang." That was the club she had gone to most of the time, and was also the biggest in town in its supply of drugs. The seats were ripped with upholstery and stained padding sticking out in places, and Adele picked at some of it and dropped it to the floor. The floor of the car wasn't any better, and had mud stains as well as vomit, beer and hell knew what other kind of stains. She leaned forward for a moment as she got into the taxi to see if she knew the driver. He seemed vaguely familiar somehow, although no name came to mind, but perhaps it was just his overall roughness that she recognized. "How long you visiting Würzburg for?" She directed her attention back to Perrin as the driver took off.
