Xhel watched the city from above as his plane flew over. His eyes were clearly wide with awe. Yes he had been in New York before but only once, and it was during the day. The City that supposedly came alive only at night. Yet he knew it was not the same 'Night Life' that the hunter was use to. Xhel had perhaps abounded Europe after hearing of the abduction of the President. He told himself it was to late to save Europe, but instead he would stop the disease from spreading. Something he should of started doing a long time ago. His private jet landed smoothly, quickly stopping. He rushed out, there were things in the city he needed before he could take his next move. But he would have to rush for them.

Pete had been following in Xhel's footsteps for about three days. It was an odd relationship, Xhel was a loner, anti-social at heart. Pete was 15, preppy, and pretty talkitive. They were almost like opposites, ad the circumstances been different they would never ad been friends, but Pete had much to learn, he would need to if he were to survive what la before him. He stretched is legs and yawned as the plane touched off and he landed in the Big Apple. Pete wasnt exactly sure why they called it "The Big Apple" but he really didnt care. He took a quick glance at his surroundings and tried to blend. They were a pretty strange pair, Xhel and Pete. Tey would have alot of trouble keeping a low profile... Pete wasnt paying attention on the plane and had no idea what they were doing in New York, but Xhel was his mentor and he had to follow. Pete looked expectantly at Xhel, waiting for instruction.

(I was planning to meet him here but.... ) Xhel let out a sigh, the kid had followed him every where for three days. It would of beein impossible for him to leave, the teenager in a Continet full of disaster. He had lost to many people to the feud between vampires and lycans, Xhel knew how the boy's parents would feel if he was killed, or worse. "All right kid wear this." He pulled out a oversized cross. The boy would look silly with it. "Remember vampires cannot look at a cross. Use this to your advantage, if they can't see you it would be extremely difficult to be bitten." Xhel had something else to tell him. " I almost forgot." He shoved an American twenty dollar bill into his hand. "Buy as much garlic as you can, Be back in a couple hours I have things to do."

Pete also let out a sigh. He didnt know what Xhel was up to but the hair on the back of his neck stood on end at the mention of Vampires and Lycans... he thought things over and realized that he and Xhel were in the middle of a war of immortals... this was way out of is league. He knew that both the Lycans and the Vampires would be recruiting more soldiers, most likely the hard way... hanging with Xhel would definitly attract attention to himself. "Xhel, whose side are we on?" Pete asked casually as he walked off into the distance. The answer to the question wasnt important, either way Pete had to find a way to defend himself, he was prey...

Xhel had to think about that question. His immediate awnser would of been their side. "Were on God's side. Remember that, Lycans won't bother us and we won't bother them. But vampires there enemies no matter what." With that the hunter urged the young boy to hurry up. Xhel ran off in the distance, he had things to do.(Sorry rushed post.)

(( yeah i know what ya mean, school tacos had me in the bathroom all day)) Pete knew now that meeting Vincent may have been the best thing that had happened in awhile, especially considering that Lycans and Vampires were at each others throats, and now that Xhel said that the Vampires were our enemies, he knew he had made the right decision. "Alright, since this is inevitably going to take awhile, im goin to stok up on the essentials. Want me to grab ya a Mountain dew?" Pete hoped that Xhel didnt notice he was just avoiding him, he wasnt sure if he would like the idea of his little friend hanging with Werewolves.

Xhel frowned as he ran off. "Sure." He shouted. The boy was diffrent, diffrent wasn't always bad though. But at the same time it wasn't always good. In this case he wondered if Pete was the good diffrent or the bad. It was the later.
A hour later, the man had returned. He looked down at the boy. "Take this." He tossed a Desert Eagle .50 AE modiffied to shoot UV ammo. Xhel figured the boy was some what strong, if it wasn't the gun would dislocate his shoulder, and that wouldn't be the greatest of things. He also handed the boy a number of wooden stakes and a bottle of holy water.
