The dining hall of Victor and Sara was set close to their own bedroom, however it was not only used as dining table for them both but also for guests and their court. Large the table was with comforting chairs placed at sides, but colored in black as favorited by the vampires it were. The walls was painting differently then others, showing history of battles and Ravens defeat. Curtains in red hanged down, covering the windows as the sun could not enter. At left pushing doors stood, leading to the bedroom of the king and queen. In front of the table was the main door, leading out into the throne hall were business was set.
Victor who was asleep after a day alone, woke up as night had fallen upon the city he lived. As Sara was out of town, he himself had to rule. Troops after war at the base of Resistant was returning, many had died but still some survived. Lycans all around the united states were captured, brought in for questioning or torture at the house of prison. Without cloths he rosed up from where he laid, almost flying he went over to take on his morning coat. A guest he had, who he had invited to dine with him the morning he woke, although was not sure if she would like to come after last night deeds.

Julie had woken up early this day, she hardly had been able to find sleep. The happening of the evening before had remained in her mind, and they had been working on her during the whole time she was alone in her guest room in Victor's house, trying to find peace. She had come to some sort of solution during her rest. She would keep her promise to Victor, she would not tell any person or creature about what had happened. But if one day she would need to use this information she had as weapon against Victor, if for her it would be the best to do this, in worst case she still would be able to keep her promise and write her secret down and hand it over to a third person. However, for now she would treat Victor like normal, at least almost like normal, probably her tone towards him will be icey.
Julie had now got up from her bed and left her room, and after looking around she was successful to find the dining hall. She entered now, wearing still the same clothes as the day before as she had not been prepared for staying longer at Victor's. Probably Rickter will be suspicious to where she is, but she was not sure if he really would notice. She sat down at one place at the table that seemed most appealing to her, leaned both her head against the table and placed her head upon them, looking down to the floor, although with her eyes closed.

As Julie had sent a mind message to Rickter about Victors deed, he himself had sent a message for him to stay away. After all she had accepted too do this as she herself wished to stay longer then expected, but still her worries were the same. While Victor was getting ready within his own bedroom, he heard voices from the dining room beside. It seemed as his guest finally had decided to join him for breakfast, it pleased him, very much. Gracefully he moved over to the doors of the room, pushing them at side so he could enter. And there he saw, Julie resting at the table that had been set for them.
"You came, what a pleasant surprise. Slept well?" Victor spoke and asked, moving over to sit down in the chair he owned. He himself was still just wearing his morning coat, as he did not care how he looked in front of others. However he knew ladies adored him, not just cause of his look but also cause of his mysterious life. Gentle clapping the hand, servants entered with food on plate. The food that was given were not as normal human food, but like blood in plates used for eating. With a smile Victor watched as the breakfast were taken in, although his eyes were fixed upon Julie.

Julie lifted her head from her hands and sat up on the chair when she heard Victor enter from his own bedroom. "Indeed, I have slept like a baby." Julie replied lying, and smirking a little, knowing that he would catch the irony in her words. After all, she would treat him coldly for another while, there would be no affection between them, not even the slightest one. When she saw the guards enter with the food, the blood in various forms, she looked questioning to Victor and asked innocently "Could I have some bread as well? And in the morning... to drink, please, tea." She said.
After all, Julie had not been a vampire for so long. She still was used to a few human customs, bread for breakfast, beside blood, she prefered, cause it was something to chew on, and she always had loved tea with enough sugar to drink. However, the happening the night before had changed her, she felt it. She had always seen herself as innocent, as a little humanlike still, feelings remained, warm and good feelings. There was not only lust left in her. But the night had changed her, she felt that she had become a tiny bit more cruel, more cold hearted, although still humanity was a main part in her.

Victor smiled interested at Julie`s respond, cause of her eating habit was different then others. All vampires were different though, however bread and tea along a soup of blood was special. She also tried being ironic as she did not like him from last night on, he had done terrible deeds, but still he wished her as his lover and friend. Slightly he nodded, turning to tell the servants to bring in tea and bread for her. "As you wish." Victor spoke out, looking at her ones again. Something about her made his gaze fall upon her every time he wished pleasure, she was lovely and still she had on the outfit from yesterday that he loved to see.
As it was said, the things that was ordered were brought in and placed beside Julie`s side of the table. Victor did not wish her harm, but to be pleased and satisfied with him being close. Her eyes and voice showed clearly that she had not let last night pass, he had to do something to gain her trust."Look, I am not the guy who usually apologize for every bit and then. However I did not wish you any harm last night, I guess you know how feelings can be."He said calm, wanting her to trust him again, which he now tried to do.

"Thank you, my king." Julie spoke when he ordered for the bread and the tea for her. When a few vampires returned with these, she finally took a plate full of blood soup, as well as a part of the bread and a filled a cup for herself with the tea. Into the tea she then put a few spoon full of sugar and nipped of the sweet liquid afterwards before she tasted the blood soup. Of course, it may seem a strange ritual, but she was not used to blood soup or anything like it for breakfast or for other meals. If she wished for blood in Italy, she went for hunting. Otherwise she mostly was fullly satisfyed with the food of humans.
While she ate and drank, she listened to what Victor told her. Deep within she knew he told her the truth, he had not wanted to hurt her feelings last night, to bite her and hurt her. Yet he had done so, probably he had not considered how she felt throughout him goind further. And in the beginning, she truly had liked what he was doing, giving her certain looks, making her feel attractive. But she had not wished for more, yet he had went on on that night.
"If you wish to speak to me about this subject, send away your guards and your vampires, they shall not hear what I have to say to you." Julie said proudly, after all, he had made her promise not to tell anyone, not to speak more of it.

The eyes of Victor was fixed upon Julie with a curtain look as she ate the soup of blood given to her, the words she spoke made him curious. However he accepted what wished, with a nod he told his servants to leave so she could speak without breaking her promise. He was glad she kept it, cause he surely did not want others to know what he had done. If Sara his queen, got to know what he had done when she was gone, then the time of his ruling with her would be over for good. Something he did not wish as she had been there from the time his war with Raven started and ended, but still he wished for new lovers as he had grown tired of others. Julie was one of those he now wished for, if she was to become his then he would give her whatever in return in payment for her deeds.
Gracefully he picked up his glass full of blood, drinking it with fixed eyes upon Julie. He now curious waited for her to speak, but before he lot her, he himself wished to say a few words."As you wished, the servants of mine are now gone. What is it that you wish to say?"Victor said glaring with a smirk, wondering if his tactic worked as he used his charm. Was she about to fall for him, or was it just a trick for him to believe so. Her shape of body surely interested him, but so did her personality which seemed to grow darker as she stayed with him.

Julie patiently waited for the guards to leave the hall, she had not yet touched the blood in the bowl, but she moved the spoon in her tea, in circles, so that the touch of metal against porcellain created a singing sound. But she was neither watching the guards moving out, nor her tea, but Victor instead, she wouldn't let him out of her eyes. When he asked her to speak now, she first took another sip of her tea, set the cup down again and spoke "If you did not wish to harm me, as you say, what else did you wish that night?" Julie began. "Do you not have Queen Sara at your side? Or other lovers?"
Julie at first let this rest, she would not speak on but answer him. If he wished to speak to her about it and was truly sorry, she only was able to ever forgive him if he gave her some plausible explanation for his actings. It was clear what he had wanted that night, but why, this now was her question.
It was a funny feeling somehow, Julie felt so clear in her mind. She felt no anger in this moment, nor was she sad. But the truth was, she felt satisfaction, at least a tiny little bit, and felt proud, superior. This event had changed her so much, in her, it had changed her whole character in some way, made her more dark-hearted and self-centered, however this was possible.

The words she spoke after the guards had left was truly coming from her deepest thoughts, long it seemed she had lingered on this questions and now time for him to answer it had come. His eyes stilled stood focused upon her, in every moment she took in the seat she sat in. She was adorable and he wished her to be his, however knew she already was taken by someone else. In return to her question, he answered." I wanted you, surely I have my queen and other lovers but none like you. To me your special, your personality interest me. Last night I went to far, I did not think but only acted. Which I wont do again, I promise."
With that being said he hoped to have gained her trust more then before, difficult it was after the deeds he had done but the wish of making it alright again was what he wanted most. Often his charm and helped him out in many situations of past, now it was time for him to do so again. Glad he was thought about his queen being away, it made him able to spend time with others, as Julie who now was his guest. However since the deeds he had done toward her, he saw clearly she had changed. Her acting showed it clearly, with annoyed voice she spoke to him as she still hated him, but still she seemed to care interest in him.
The glass he had drunked blood from he still held onto, thought leaved it alone as his eyes still were fixed upon her. She was a great sight for his eye, and satisfied him she did by just looking at her. A promise he had made himself since last night deeds, that if she came to his breakfast he was going to do everything in his power to make her fall for his way of acting and charm. She was to be his, but still time it took to make it so.

Julie stopped eating or drinking when Victor spoke, she simply concentrated on his words, on his actions, how he spoke. So what he said was that he wished to have her, like a trophy in his collection? This seemed to be so unbelievably selfish to her, but this was as she almost always had seen him. Victor wished for more power, for more to possess, and to controll. He was a king, a vampire king, and all these centuries of being a vampire had made him self-centered and greede. This was how Julie saw it. No, he had not wished to hurt her, but still he wants to possess her, to fully have her.
She needed to answer him. She continued, she wanted to continued to act strong and proud, even although she did not feel so. "Of course you will not do this again, I will not let you. And to your apology, I accept it. But that does not necessarily mean that I can forget your actions. You as king should more think of what is good for your people and for probable peace than what you want yourself." She said. She was looking at him, straight into his eyes while speaking. She knew, critizising the king is not the best way to continue their relationship. But Julie was full of anger against Victor, and needed to let it out in some way. And if it was insulting him, she would do it, she would not keep her anger inside and let it destroy her.

With eyes filled with lust they now turned more serious, Julie was insulting her own king and it angered him. However he did not speak for some time, he gentle took another sip from his cloths and smiled to himself. He knew she had anger left in her, and so he allowed her to let it out even he did not like it. Carefully he placed his glass of blood down at the table, as his eyes who glowed red again turned to look at her. Although slowly it faded away again, cause still interested he was in her beauty."I am glad you accept my apology, but do not criticize the way I do my job. Remember your still my guest, in my home."He answered, cruel in his words as he was eagered but calmed down sonly again.
"The world has changed since we ones was human, we are not living nor dead but undead creatures."Victor said deep with his voice, watching her still as she had stopped eating and kept glaring back at him. A feeling within him could be felt, it was not his own but clearly it was coming from Julie. He could sense her soul was getting darker, and it made him smile."I can sense your anger is getting stronger, your heart is getting colder."

Julie did not answer Victor to the first words he spoke and answered her, but she held his stare, looking back into his eyes, seeing his motions and feelings change withing them. he was angry, of course, she could have fortold it after the words she ahd spoken to him before. But she also saw that he calmed down again soon, why would he calm down so soon after being insulted in such a way, and if he truly was so arrogant and selfish as she had thought him to be.
But to what he said next he had to answer, she had to counter it. "I still was a human, only 3 years back. I know both, how it feels to be a human, as well as an undead vampire. I was turned not by my wish, I was tricked, therefor I still have so much humanity in me. And even if time let it get less and less, I have by far more humanity, love, pity in me than you." She spoke. She was not sure where this conversation was to lead, but she now saw her chance to speak her mind, her opinion, without regret and without fear to be punished.

Victor glared at Julie as she spoke with angry words, it seemed she hated the life she had given but still so much had it gained her as wisdom and love. Never would she need to grow old, as immortal the vampires were. She would stay beautiful as long she lived, cause a beauty in human form she had been. However the conversation the king of vampires had with the woman he now admired, made her thoughts darker as hate lingered deep within her. He did not care, as hate and pain he loved. She was an interesting vampire, who lately had caught his attention and which had made him do stupid things. Greedy he had become of power, but calm others tried to hold him as such was not his way of living earlier. As he saw the things he had done were wrong, he relaxed in the chair he sat upon but spoke in return loud and clear."I understand you have been threw a lot, and I understand I have treated you badly, but give me a chance and your existence before deciding your mind. I must admit that you are beautiful, in every way you act and move. However I did not mean to hurt you, in any way."Victor spoke, as charming and kind he tried to be even his linger for fun was within him.
Julie were the lady of the Lemure clan, which existed in Italy. Although she were not single it seemed as most of her time she spent with Rickter, but luckily for Victor it seemed their relationship soon was at end. If he could gain her as one of his lovers, it surely would please him thought in return he would give her everything she desired. As he had the power, he could do whatever he pleased but only if people of his kind were willing. The darkness who growed inside of her, was starting to make her like himself and soon it would make her forget about what she loved the most and only enjoy what she would have. Victor hoped for his, as that could make her be with him instead.

No, Julie did not hate her vampire life. In fact, she enjoyed it. Although she needed time to get used to feasting on blood, or to have teeth that, if she was not careful, could cut open her lips, she felt much more freedom in being a vampire than in being a human, and this was exactly what she wanted. However, she was not entirely happy. She was in love, with Rickter, and he seemed to love her, but they could not get closer together it seemed. In all these years she had known him now, they only had shared one quick kiss while she was in a state of trance, kidnapped by the beast, and this was not enough for her.
However, considering to be one of Victor's lovers, she did not like this idea either. Julie was proud, she wanted a man, or in fact a vampire for her own so that he would give her all his love, and she in return as well. Victor was selfish, he had a wife as well as many concubines at his side, she did not want to become one of them, not even considering his uncontrolled lust for her. She would and could not forget the night before, for her own sake. Julie wanted Victor as far away as possible, at least from her person. She knew, he was her king and she the lady of one of the strongest vampire clans. She would not be able to outrun him, but still she was able to keep herself from any intimacy between them.
"I am grateful that you think you understand my feelings, my king. However, I do not fully see what you want with me. In the very start, you called me here to America for a meeting, which we have held. You invited me to stay longer, I accepted. If you do not have any other... kingly purposes with me here, then I will take my leave, and will leave for Italy to prepare my clan there for the attack." She spoke, completely ignoring any of his compliments, his gazes or his obvious intentions.

Victors look at Julie in the words she final spoke, made his face more serious then ever. She wanted to leave and it angered him, red his eyes glared for a short moment until he himself decided to rise from were he sat. In return to the words she said, he spoke loud and clear."Very well, if thats your wish..then I will let you go. I have no further business."He said and with evil thoughts he left the room, leaving her alone as she so dearly wished to go home.
