"Longer than you've been alive, my dear," he replied to the woman. He wondered if she knew what she was getting herself into by being here. Jasper could restrain himself, he'd just taken from a prostitute in upper Norway. That's why he'd come here, he needed to spread out so that it wouldn't be too suspicious. Dozens of headlines appeared on the morning papers streaming headlines of hideous murders of slashed throats and the scum of the city being drained of every ounce of blood is something he wished to avoid. He knew he needed to cut down in London. Jasper remembered Drake's warning not to bother her, "With practice, anything is possible." The smell of human women pervaded into the other rooms upon entry. Oh the temptation...

Temptations were what taught vampires, what taught humans and what taught any other entity that was in existence. The woman standing next to Jasper was no doubt attractive and with her hand on his shoulder he could easily feel the warm blood running through her veins. Her scent reached him and such a scent would intoxicate anyone. She smiled warmly as she moved and sat down on the bench next to him, very smoothly, “Perhaps you could teach me,” She said, turning her head so that she was looking fully at Jasper. Drake was still in an opposite room, talking to a vampire of slightly higher class than the rest of the callers that had entered the house. There was trouble brewing with Vincent and in Rome.

The vampires eyes darkened with a thirst rumbling up in his veins. As she sat next to him on the piano bench his muscles stiffened. The sweet smell of the womans hair drove him crazy, and the salt that mingled on her skin. Maybe what he had taken hadn't been enough... "Maybe some other time," he said politely, keeping an even tone of voice. He cleared his throat and moved off of the bench. "Shall we?" Jasper was at the door and indicating into the other room where Drake stood with his fellows. "I think this is our cue to enter." The vampire stood against the wall of the room that contained the vampires waiting to be detected, but none the less prepared. Outsiders aren't often welcome among the wild packs, why should it be any different here?
