Chris finally had a chance to get away from Cameron. She slipped away to Arai's room and knocked, "Arai, it's Christina, I have to talk to you," she said softly. She didn't blame Arai, this wasn't the way of the lycan, something else drove him, but what?

Arai had been staring at the wall, cross legged on her bed. What she had been thinking about she couldn't say; she just worked herself into a numbness of sorts. She jumped a bit at the sudden knock; loud noises bothered her lately. Walking over to the door, she pulled the dark jacket she was wearing tighter about herself. Unlocking the bolt, she opened the door enough to peek out with her dull brown eyes. "What?" she said flatly, knowing she looked horrible. Arai hadn't slept in a while, the deep circles under her eyes were testimony to that. Christina....the girl who hated werewolves. Probably here to demand she be put under better guard.

"I need your help. I'm hoping you might know what happened to Cameron. If we don't fix it, he'll destroy every city in the world and he might...who knows, attack you," she said sincerly. She trusted Arai more than before, only because Cameron told her to.

Arai laughed, a cold, heartless laugh of bitterness. "Too late for that. I'm beyond needing protection, and he can't be fixed." Opening the door further, she allowed her to come in, then shut it behind her, locking it. She knew locks couldn't stop the new Cameron, but with his girlfriend here he hopefully forgot about her. "So he's destroyed already? Probably New York or Washington," she surmised. If one were out for destruction, those were the cities to attack. "Cameron is not Cameron anymore," she stated, sitting on the edge of the bed, "at least his mind isn't."

"That's not completely true Arai," she said. "On occasion the real Cameron comes out," she told her, "I know he'd still in there, somewhere, and that's why I need your help. "Maybe you know or what it is in him. Please Arai, help me get Cameron back!" She pleaded Arai. "If you do, I'll help you leave here."

"Comes out?" she questioned, "Or is let out?" One look at Christina's face and she knew it was the latter. Sighing, she said, "Demons. Multiple. They attacked the base, drove us to a remote location, then possessed him. They seem to fight for control within him, though some are stronger than others." But all of them were definetly strong, in one way or another. Strong enough to keep the true Cameron from coming out. "Leave?" she murmured, drawing her knees to her chin, "Where would I go? I have nothing to live for." And it was true. If she hadn't have been depressed already, she would have been now.

"I'll figure out something Arai, I promise, but please, help me," she begged Arai. She really needed her help. She knew about vampires and lycans but demons was another world for her.

Arai nodded wearily. "Demons can't be killed. They can be exorcised, but that doesn't get rid of them. Likely they will only inhabit the next person that comes along. They chose Cameron because he is the one who will be most useful to them," she explained, "an angel could kill a demon, but even then it's not really dead, since it was never alive. Angels really only send demons back into the abyss." Supernatural beings were complicated matters, and Arai didn't really have an angel on hand at the moment, so that wasn't much help. "I need to get out by tonight," Arai stated, "it's a full moon."

She nodded, "Okay, can you give me an hour?" She asked Arai curiously. She knew a way to get her out and have a place to stay but it included her doing a bit of snooping.

She smiled wryly. "I'm not going anywhere," she said with a sweeping hand motion at the thick walls. Technically, Arai could go out the door, but she would be stopped before she reached the outside of the base.

She nodded and left. An hour later, she returned with a key to a beach side villa and a boat ticket. "C'mon," She said, "I got you a place on one of the smaller islands, you'll be alone," she stated.

"Good," she said. Leaving the room, she shut the door behind her. For the first time in a while, Arai felt a sense of relief. She was leaving. Hopefully forever. "And you? What will you do?" she asked curiously.

"I'mm going to find out what the demon's want and will strike a deal." She told her and led her out ti a waiting cab. "There are two tickets here, one is for the boat trip there and the other is for back so you can leave Hawaii. Here's your keys to the villa and a phone card so they don't know. I pray you can get away safely, and I'm sorry about what happened."She told her. She didn't even have to ask, she knew the demon's raped her.

"It will not work," Arai stated, "they have too much of a hold on you already." She got in the cab, taking the tickets in hand and placing them safely in her pocket. A small lump rose in her throat as she half-closed the door. "Thanks, Christina," she said, "I know you don't like lycans. And there was nothing you did wrong. I wish you the best." Closing the door, she sat back and buckled her seat belt. Rolling down the window, she added, "Get out as soon as you can; the longer you are there the harder it is to break free." Then the cab drove off.

"I wish it were that easy," she sighed. As long as Cameron was alive, she would stay. She then headed back and to her room. Next time she saw Cameron, she'd strike a deal.
