"Well you've got a quota huh? Well maybe we could wrestle around a bit, but we've got to keep it clean." He peaked over the laptop. "Your very attractive. I'm still amazed that you took out the three guys. But I am at the moment securing a room at..." He looked across the screen and found the name of a nice hotel outside of town. "The Golden Inn" His fingers flew over the keys. "Right now the hotel is giving me a complimentary night stay in the VIP sweet, with a $1,000 room service credit. In American money. I'll make sure there's a couch for me to sleep on, don't you worry, unless there's room enough for the both of us in the bed." He grinned the whole time. "Extra large king sized bed, sound big enough to share?" He signaled the waitress. "Can I get a coffee, a mountain dew, and a basket of cheese sticks for an appatizer. Also whatever the lady wants." He went back to work on the laptop. "Now I've got to see if I can get a car, I plan to see some more of the country besides this quaint town."

The electric bell on the door rang as it was opened, temporarily diverting the café’s customer’s eyes to the door. Mikel stood like a tower at 6:4 and in an all black suite. There was not red or touch of white or even the hint of another color. The suite was all black, even down to the shoes. Mikel’s hair was down to his shoulders, a bit wavy, but not as though he had actually done anything that morning besides comb it. There was a black cane with a silver crest at the top that was grasped firmly in Mikel’s hand as he walked to one of the chairs by the window. His eyes scanned the crowd of people, most were stupid and pointless people, yet necessary to sustain economic structure. A few were of higher class, the ones that sat by themselves with computers or simply drinking their coffee’s in their suites by the corners. Higher class was good; however, there was just a certain essence, a certain presence you had to have in the world of money.
From Mikel’s presence, people would know he had it. Yet, he wasn’t stubborn or ignorant or indignant of those around him. He believed everyone could become something. He had been nothing once, lived that life. Upon Mikel’s scan of the café, his eyes rested very calmly on Adele. She had a familiar essence about her, like he had seen her before in a picture or magazine. There was also a feeling of a sort of connection between them, as if they were the same species, the same beings and those within dying to get out, to converse. It was an interesting feeling indeed. He looked at the man next to her. He seemed rather, disorganized, someone who was flustered often, but he wasn’t a mean person. He seemed to be rather cheery. Interesting, the woman looked as if she could defeat the man. She seemed more subtle, more reserved, but still explosive when needed. Mikel finally diverted his eyes and sat down at his table. The waitress approached and he requested his preference, and afterward, returning his gaze to Adele, but being discrete with it.

“You doubt me? …what?” She leaned forward a bit in the booth. The Golden Inn? That’s what he said, her ears hadn’t failed her since she’d become a Werewolf, but was he serious? The people that stayed at that hotel practically ate, breathed, and sh1t money. “Who the hell are you?” How had he managed to obtain a complimentary night in one of those suites? He looked like her, as far as he was dressed; but the only money she really had had been part of the funds from the Den in Sweden, and from the estate of Perrin Goldeneyes which she tried not to spend too loosely. Something about his grin was a bit too playful, and Adele just couldn’t see him being the son of any United States’ diplomat. She sat back when the waitress came over and Sinclare ordered, “I want the steak. Rare. Bloody and still breathing,” she specified with a quiet smile. “Fried potatoes and a cola.” After the waitress left, Adele rose an amused eyebrow at Sinclare’s description of this city, “Yeah, real quaint.” The door to the café opened with slight chime, and Adele looked automatically over as an affluent-looking man with a cane entered. She watched him choose a seat by the window, and even the fluid, confident motion of his shoulders as he walked dictated that he was comfortably upper class. Her head had cleared of all effects of anything she’d taken at the party. And she was certain now that there was something about Sinclare, and even with this man who’d just entered the café, that felt familiar. Something unseen, but recognizable; almost like home. Whatever that was now. The man looked over at her, but Adele did not avert her gaze just because she’d been spotted. Yeah, he definitely put on the air of having a familiar higher power; and he seemed somewhat older than he looked physically. Her eyes turned naturally away from the man who’d just entered, and back to Sinclare, “Are you traveling north or south?”

"What do you mean who the hell am I?" He chuckled. "I am just your average American. I just know my way around a computer." The waitress walked over. "I will have.... Ummmmm steak, medium rare, with potatoes as well." He tapped a few more keys and closed his laptop. "There, I have a car lined up for tomorrow. What are you staring at?" He turned around and saw the man who was obviously out of place, and turned back around. "You never answered me, is that bed big enough for two?" Sinclare took a drink of his coffee then his soda. "I'm traveling..." He pulled out a coin. "I'm right north, your right south. Call it" He flipped the coin in the air.

“Sure…” she said lightly, trying to egg him on a bit. When Sinclare looked to see the man who’d walked in, and turned back around casually, Adele sighed silently. He couldn’t feel it, it seemed. Perhaps she was going crazy. Perhaps she should stop going outside, because it seemed like half the people she ran into lately seemed familiar, or looked familiar. Or smelled familiar. No, she knew she’d never met Sinclare before, she would have remembered someone like him. And she was pretty sure she’d never met that other man; the only other person she’d met with an air of aristocracy was the Werewolf who’d bitten her, but even he had taken pleasure in some of the simpler things. Alright, well it was good to know she was imagining things, maybe. She crossed her arms on the table and stared at Sinclare for a moment, “Your funeral. I’m a kicker.” She smiled genuinely and a bit wider than her past smiles had been. She also had nightmares when she did nod off; this would be interesting. “Tails of course.”

"You know that guy? He seems to know you." Sinclare flicked the coin in the air and it twirled. He snatched it out of the air and slammed it on the counter. He lifted his hand and slid it off the counter. "Heads, we go north. I'll take my chances with the legs, but I must warn you, I'm a cuddler." He smirked. The waitress came over and set down the plates of food and walked away. Sinclare smelled his food, "Mmmm, meat!" He glanced at the man in the black hole of a suit and sniffed.

Mikel watched as the two conversed with each other. Mikel couldn’t help but overhear their conversation. Ever since he became what he was could hear very well whether he wanted to or not. This fellow that Adele found herself with was rather ill mannered. Mikel was not very liking of ill manner people. They just didn’t have the respect they should and simply didn’t have the proper edict. In any case, for a time Mikel was content to watch as his coffee was brought to him and he thanked the waitress with a kind thank you, placing a few dollars in the country’s currency on the table for her when he left. Mikel sipped his coffee and turned his attention back to Adele.
After a little while and after they had played their game with the coin Mikel beckoned with a notion of his hand for the waitress to come over to his table. She did so and smiled when she saw the handsome tip that he would be leaving her. Excited about the tip she gladly agreed to what he asked and she nodded her head and went back to the bar where she stayed for several minutes. After which time she returned, but not to Mikel’s table. No, she went to Adele’s table and placed a simple white folded letter on the table in front of Adele. She smiled, said nothing and proceeded on to wait on the other tables. The letter read It is not every day that I find one of mine in such a common place. I relish the ability and opportunity and to commune with any of those that are of my and your race. If you wish to speak with me I will be staying at the Golden Inn. I have the suite 807. If you shall come I will be expecting you between 8 and 10.

”You know that guy? He seems to know you.” “Yeah?” Adele glanced back at the man by the window. Somehow it did seem like she was being watched. But she shrugged to Sinclare, “To him it must seem as if you know me, too.” Taking a drink of her cola, she crinkled her nose slightly when he mentioned his sleeping habits. “We go north? What makes you think I’ll be joining you?” A cat-like grin slid upon her face. Adele sat back as the waitress came near, so she could set the plates on the table, “More napkins.” This wasn’t a particularly messy meal she’d ordered, but if Adele didn’t find some way to make a mess, she was usually around people who dropped things. "You came to Europe alone?" she asked Sinclare. The steak was great, just as she had asked for; and she didn't even mind when the waitress came over and placed the letter in front of her with no explanation. That was how good the steak was. She read the note silently, no expression crossing her face until the end. Then she grinned briefly and folded it back up, sticking it into her hoodie's pocket. "Business." Adele told Sinclare, laughing a bit.

The waitress walked over and placed a letter in front of Adele. Sinclare raised an eyebrow. "Ohhh, someone's got an admirer." He teased. "Do you often get strange letters?" the waitress came back with their plates of food.

"Well... they usually contain anthrax. Or are followed with a punch to the gut." She said this in a thoughtful manner, but was not serious. "Not usually letters. But yes, many strange situations." Adele ate a couple of fries, "Like being approached by someone with beers after they just saw me take some people down." She poked her tongue out at Sinclare a little.

"Nothing wrong with beers, at least I walked up to you. But anyways what does it say?" He ate his food. Why is the suit hitting on the girl.... "But would you like to accompany me north? Oh and by the way." He stuck out his tongue at her.

“Perhaps,” Adele was quiet for a moment. “I am on my way to Sweden.” Well, she was planning to be on her way there soon. That was perhaps farther north than Sinclare was thinking of going, but she could travel part way with him. She finished her cola and sat back, “The writer has recognized me as a friend of a friend, and wants me to get in contact.” Adele did not pick up the slight animosity from Sinclare, and finished her fries.

"Alright, north. So how about we go through Poland, then hook around to Finland and Sweden. Then over through Russia, and then down through China? You can leave whenever you want, but I'm planning to see the world." He finished his food and leaned back in his chair. "Ready to go when you are." Why am I doing this... Sinclare wondered about the feeling he has about the girl. The power inside her was there, and presented in her actions. I hope I don't get screwed over in this... But I can handle one alone.... I hope. "So how do you feel about the sun?" Sinclare was starting to panic, he had encountered vampires in the past, and some of the things she had said could be taken as being a leech... or a werewolf... Easy Sinclare... easy now. Don't jump the gun...

The sun? That was random. They were going to travel north, and winter was just around the corner. What sun? Was he commenting on the tone of her skin? “The sun’s alright. The moon is better.” Adele stood from the table, “Ready.” Personally, she didn’t care if a tip was left or not, so she said nothing to Sinclare, and walked over to the register to pay for the meals. “You coming, foreigner?” She smiled playfully at one corner of her mouth and exited the café.

"Hey, I'm at home where ever I roam." Sinclare got up and put a twenty on the table for a tip and walked to the register. He pulled out his wallet and slid his card, "Can I get cash back?" The waitress nodded. He got twenty out and put it in his wallet. He put his hand on Adele's back and eased her towards the door. "So you like the moon too? Do you just go crazy when the moons full? I know I loves me a full moon. Almost enough to howl." He let out a smirk and started towards the door.
