Lydia sighed as she was given another piece of advise.
Lydia felt a sharp shooting pain on her face. She rubbed it and looked up at the ceiling. "I cant get hold of it!" She sighed loudly. She looked over at the other Vampire boy. He was also rubbing his face. Lydia looked down at the floor. "Ok.... so, don't spin unless i have to.... Never throw your weapon away.... Never waste my energy, God there is a lot to learn isn't there? Am i ever gonna get the hang of this?" Lydia asked placing her hands in front of her for another time. She was getting bored of this pose. She had to do something to stop this fight. There was only so much she could learn. "Are we nearly finished, what else do i need to learn?" She said with a low voice. Staring at Rickter with her hands twitching. Her long dark brown hair stroking her arms. The young boy with her watched as both Lydia and Rickter had a conversation.

Rickter let out a small laugh, eager to be turned, yet not so eager to be taught. "Well, if you would like an easier task, then you two could fight. First to be knocked to the floor. No powers involved?" He smiled as he watched both of their expressions.
Tilting his head back he looked up at the ceiling, a grin spreading across his face, if they attacked him now they would be fools. He didn't have to look to be able to see.

Lydia sighed. She wanted to be turned and she wanted to be taught but this was just a little too much. She hadn't even been a Vampire for 24 hours and she was tired. When Rickter proposed the boy and Lydia to fight, Lydia's face dropped. It may be a little easier as the young boy wasn't AS powerful as Reckiter. As Rickter looked up at the ceiling Lydia thought to attack, but he was VERY powerful and would probably see it coming. Lydia sighed.
Lydia faced the young boy and placed her hands in her specific fighting pose. "OK, I think i can do this" She glanced at Rickter who was looking up at the ceiling. She wanted to make sure she was doing the right thing before she made a mistake and disappointed him.

Rickter watched as the boy prepared, they had a similar fighting style, they'd both been turned recently. So they were equally matched. a fair fight.
He watched as Lydia looked at him. Her first mistake in this fight. The boy took that moment to step forwards and high kick her in the chest.

Lydia realized her mistake, and learned from it. She sighed and shook her head in concentration. "OK" She murmured to herself. As the boy went for another high kick to the chest she moved and waited for him to hit the floor until she swiped across and slammed her fist into his face. She then backed off slightly giving him room to stand. Eventually he did. Lydia sighed once more. The young boy ran toward her but as she moved so did he. He slammed his open palm into her stomach which sent her flying high into the wall. As the young boy looked up Lydia was skidding up the wall. Her eyes had not moved off of her target. The boy frowned in frustration. Lydia pushed herself off of the wall and flipped behind him. As the boy turned with her, they both started to block each others hits. Faster and faster they got eyes fixed. No sound could brake their concentration. Lydia felt each hit being blocked as well as each block being hit. Suddenly both Vampires tired and stopped to breath. They looked up. Who would make the first move finish this match? Lydia's breathing was heavy. The boys was deep. Lydia found it in herself at long last to spin. With power, she kicked the young boy to the floor.
"..." Lydia fell to the floor, tired and hungry. She stared at the boy in the floor. "I.... i hope i.... didn't hurt....him" She slowly said while catching her breath. Lydia looked up at Rcikter. Something told her he had something to say about her tactic of fighting. She looked blankly at Rickter who was standing in the same spot as before.

Rickter surveyed the fight with a thin smile on his lips. She would make a great warrior. He opened his lips to reply to Lydia when the door crashed open. A man that looked older than Rickter entered and approached Rickter, he had a worried looked on his face. He bent close to his master and whispered something in his ear.
"Then why aren't they dead?" Rickter demanded to the man, anger spreading across his face. "You incompetent fool!" The man whispered something else, to Rickter again quiet enough for Lydia and the other boy not to hear it. "Very well, gather the men," the man turned and left the room.
When Rickter turned back to the two 'students' he had a look of shock on his face. His voice was cold and menacing when he spoke. "You can stay here if you like, but if you want proper combat practice then you better get ready for a fight."
Without another word he turned and left the room.

Lydia looked shocked. She looked at the boy who looked back at her. She shrugged and the young boy did the same. Lydia thought for a second.
"Wait! Rickter!" She ran after him, wanting answers to a few questions. "Rick!" She called out heading for the door.

Mikaela wandered into the training hall, her loose, dark hair hanging down over her face, her hand stuffed into the pocket of her green jumper. Glancing at the two vampires already standing in the unfurnished, chilly room, she smiled wanly. Brushing her fringe from her eyes, she slumped against the opposing wall, letting herself slide to the floor. "Hi..." she finally mumbled, her voice low and desolute.

Lydia skidded to a stop just before she reached the door of the training hall. She looked down at the newcomer in the room. Lydia looked back at the young boy. He was no longer in the room. Lydia returned her attention to the girl who was sitting on the cold floor. "Erm... hi" Lydia smiled warmly. Her head popped up as she remembered Rickter. He would of been long gone by now. "Erm..." Lydia hesitated. She looked down at her. The girl's long hair was swaying slightly in the draft. "I'm Lydia, what's your name?" She asked with a sweet smile and cocking her head to one side.

Mikaela looked up at the girl and offered a smile. "Mikaela," she said softly, burying her hands in her jumper pocket once more. The breeze was bugging her slightly, though she didn't think that mattered enough to mention it. Looking down at her jumper, she couldn't help but sigh. The once leafy green material was splattered and stained with blood and showed the marks of sewer water. She had a feeling she wouldn't be able to wear it again in public. The rest of her clothes, though incredibly grubby were still recoverable. But this particular hoodie had been her favourite.
"Once upon a life, what were you?"

Lydia looked stunned and slightly taken back by the question. She frowned and swallowed. Lydia crossed her legs and dropped to the floor. "Erm..." She began as she looked at the Mikaela. "I was a human girl, i suppose. Just an ordinary human girl. Why? What were you?" She asked with a slight frown. Lydia felt the cold breeze. She looked around the empty room. She had not felt this breeze before. Maybe the fighting had warmed her up and she had no need to feel the breeze, but she did now. "Do you want to go to another room or something. It is quite chilly in here." Lydia stood up offering a hand to help Mikaela up with a smile.

"Sure," Mikaela smiled, standing and moving to follow the girl. Now that she had dug herself out of her confusing and jumbled thoughts she could feel a chilly breeze. Of course, that was the reason she was beginning to shiver in her drenched, grubby clothes. Upon remembering the state of her jumper she sighed again, fingering the once green material. "I used to be a nurse. Not an amazing one, all I wanted to do was help people,"

Lydia looked shocked. "Oh" She mumbled not quite knowing what to say. Lydia grabbed the handle on the large oak door and pulled it open. The corridor seemed forever long. Lydia sighed. "Erm..." She spun to face Mikaela. "Where do you want to go?" She asked in a cherry manner. Lydia bit into her lip hoping Mikaela had some sort of idea where they were.

Mikaela smiled and shrugged. "Only places I know in this base is this room and the main hall place," She got the impression that Lydia was a little lost. Mostly from the bitten lip. After a moment of consideration, she started walking down the corridor, almost too sure of herself. Glancing back at the girl, she asked "Why'd you turn?" She had been thinking while walking the streets, and was now curious as to why every vampire had chosen to turn.

Lydia sighed and looked at the surrounding walls. "Well, me and my old man, we had an argument and i was in an alley way when Rickter found me. He went to kill me and i practically welcomed death. He kind of saw i wasn't scared and asked if i wanted to follow this path. I agreed. My whole life i have had an obsession of Vampires, Werewolf's and creatures. It only occurred to me what kind of monstrous creature i was when i..." Lydia looked down at the moving floor. She teared up slightly and sighed. "My first kill was my old man. He wasn't the nicest of guys but he deserved it." Lydia forced through clenched teeth, almost trying to hold back the pain held inside. Lydia looked up and sniffed. "What about you? Why did you change?" She asked jogging up to walk beside her, instead of behind.
